Party time for Party People and Party Spiders

At long last Day Two has arrived and after several days of planning and last minute Party Prep the Gym has been transformed into, what Peter and Gwen think, a pretty awesome Party space.

They're invited everyone on the train so come on by and enjoy some Midgardian Music, snacks and a learn a few new dances! Be sure to thank everyone that helped to put everything together!

This sort of thing manages to catch Inigo by surprise each time. Back home his friends would just have made a dumb joke right back at him, maybe even in a jokingly insulting way like they do all the time, but instead Taiki is just so surprisingly genuine in return. Not that it's too surprising, since Taiki is such an infinitely sweet person in Inigo's opinion, but it's still new enough for him to be speechless for a moment.

His cheeks colour a faint pink, and he lets out a small laugh.

"I.. uh, thanks. I was kind of joking, but that's really sweet of you to say. I won't forget you either."

"Oh." He blushed slightly, "Sorry. I didn't realise..."

He did things like that. He wasn't very good at talking to people at all. Especially when they were joking, most of the situations he found himself in were extremely serious and not places where people made jokes.

But at least Inigo doesn't seem angry.

Definitely not angry. Just really touched! Doubly so since he didn't see that kind of statement coming - it makes it have even more impact on him than it usually would have.

So he quickly says, "Don't apologize." Taiki should never have to apologize for anything. He's so great! "I think being so genuine" - and kind of oblivious in this way - "is your charm. You're just the first friend I've ever had who's like that, so I'm only slowly getting used to it."

Because most of his friends are sassy jerks. But they're his sassy jerks!

"Oh." He smiled, Inigo had said he liked it when he smiled so he did his best, even if smiling wasn't something that came naturally anymore.

Then again, it had been easier this last week, on the train where he can feel Lord Gyousou so close. Smiling no longer felt so far away than it once had.

And Inigo calling him a friend... He can't remember the last time someone called him a friend. He's not sure anyone ever has. His smile grows and for a moment he is completely lost for words.
