At long last Day Two has arrived and after several days of planning and last minute Party Prep the Gym has been transformed into, what Peter and Gwen think, a pretty awesome Party space.

They're invited everyone on the train so come on by and enjoy some Midgardian Music, snacks and a learn a few new dances! Be sure to thank everyone that helped to put everything together!

Dressing Car.

As a special treat the train gods have smiled on Peter's humble request to have Party clothes.

Except that.

What is in the dressing car are a bunch brightly colored neon onsies.

[ The party is Big and Noisy and Not For Her and she is hiding out in Dressing. Unfortunately, that's where the neon onesies are, so she's not as isolated as she'd like.

Oh well, she gets to watch people pick onesies, she guesses. After a while, she even starts pulling them out and hanging them up on silk lines for easier access, and because they make a convenient but eye-blistering wall for her nest. ]

Kaiba really shouldn't be at the party at all. This would be the perfect time for some quiet on the train. But he's subtly encouraged to at least put in a brief appearance, and the promise of something else to wear interests him.

He enters in the hopes of finding a suit, even if it's not perfectly tailored, or at least respectable casual wear. What he finds instead is a rainbow neon nightmare, and he makes a face.

"...definitely not. I'm out."

"Hm." Kaito leans on Peter's shoulder.

"I thiiiiiiiiink things got a little mixed up."

Snacks!

Snacks and drinks have been provided thanks to Happy, Khary, Tony and Evie! Grab a snack, grab a drink-time to mingle!

Unbeknownst to her, Nita has grabbed one of the alcoholic drinks.

It smelled like lemonade, okay? That will be her excuse when she recovers from this tomorrow. At least she is old enough here to be drinking...

"Maybe we're just not asking the right questions?" she wonders aloud, about a third of the way through her drink.

"If we put the words in the right order, it'll have to understand!"

He'd had to have it explained to him that the drinks that kind of looked like soda's were, in actual fact, very much alcoholic. Some more toxic than others it seemed, but Gladio wasn't being fussy. He was a simple guy and generally preferred a normal, every day beer. But since he had no other real choices, the weird drinks would have to do.

Gladio was on his third, sat down at a table, legs stretched out and crossed at the ankles and doing his best to ignore the gods awful pop music that was blasting all around him.

A few more drinks and he wouldn't care so much about the music. Or the fact he was trapped on a train. Or much of anything. Already he was feeling a nice buzz. It felt pretty good.

[It is later in the evening by now. All the wall flowers are either already gone or wishing they were. All the party animals can finally have fun without all the killjoys judging them and sucking the fun out of the room. At least, that’s what Samata is thinking, but she’s been raiding the bar pretty heavily tonight and is drunk. Drunk enough to wear a neon tie-die onesie that sober Samata wouldn’t have been caught dead in.

She’s one of those party animals I mentioned, you see.

She just climbed on top of the mostly empty snack table and stood up to get everyone’s attention.]

Since we all- we’re all stuck on this...amazing and terrible train thingamajig, I think it’s very important to get to know each other. That’s why I want to show you a dance of my people. Who are humans. I think most of you are humans.

[She finished off the drink in her hand and tossed the empty cup over her shoulder. It was a plastic cup, fortunately, and didn’t break.]

Who cares!?

[Then she started to dance a drunken jig.

We’re table dancing drunk now, I’m afraid to say.]

Inigo likes parties. Really. Truly. And he likes food! And he likes dancing! But the latter is made very, very hard by the fact of just how many people are here. How many people would see him dance if he'd actually get out there and dance to one of these songs. The very thought of it is terrifying. He'd rather face down an entire horde of Risen by himself, thanks.

So instead anyone may be able to find Inigo near the snacks. He's staring longingly at the dance floor so obviously, but the moment he notices anyone approaching, the boy instead shoves the biggest possible load of chips straight into his mouth as if he was totally just thinking about the snacks and not about dancing.

.. it may be a few too many chips. He starts coughing like he's choking on them. Please help if you were the one approaching..

Well, at least Dyme didn't have to ask what people did around here for fun. He adored parties, especially if they weren't fancy and he didn't have to dress up. He'd bypassed the onesies--he'd die before putting one on, so he'd arrived in the normal clothes the train had put him in. He wished he could nab a purple hoodie, but they were split up by colors on purpose, and he wasn't sure that would go over well. Besides, he wouldn't like it if someone stole one of his things on the train, so.

He had snacks in one hand and a drink in the other. He was already tipsy, which was enough to have him relaxed and in a good mood, and he didn't recognize a single song playing, but he liked most of them and tapped his foot along with the beat.

"This reminds me of home." And he was, maybe, a little homesick despite having a good time.

OOC Note- Tony has supplied some mixed drinks with vodka and rum. He's also warned several adults in the area to keep an eye on this since Peter got sick on them last party. If you don't look old enough, whoever is pouring might refuse to serve you.

Another OOC Note: Sarai's provided savory finger tarts in this month's theme of onion! There's added cheese for tender tummies, and a number of simple cheese tarts for spider-children who might have adverse reactions to onions. Just in case!

Snacks & Accidental Drinking

Naminé wasn't aware that there was alcohol in any of the drinks and so she accidentally ended up with something sweet laced with Vodka. She wasn't physically all that young but she'd never had alcohol before and one cup was enough to hit her like a sledge hammer.

Her face was flushed pink and she could not stop giggling.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong." Her fingers rose to her lips to try and hide her smile but it was impossible. She was giggling. Maybe it was the ridiculous onsie that she had decided to put on to blend into the party?

Or maybe it was something else?

Snacks! And hopeful interuptions in her get-away plan

Dairine wasn't really feeling up to socializing a whole lot, let alone partying. But she was NOT about to miss out on free food.

She's grabbed a plate full of snacks and a soda. (Non-alcoholic, unlike a certain sister of hers.) Dairine starts walking off, intending on leaving the party room for somewhere less crowded and noisy.

But others don't have to abide by those plans.

[ She's a little conscious of the fact that she told at least two new arrivals that mornings in the gym are for training, and now there's loud music and a buffet on the ping-pong table and a lot of ... party paraphernalia.

She knew, theoretically, that the party was happening. There was a lot of discussion about it, after all. She'd definitely made a note to show up and then go hide out elsewhere. But with the platform chaos, she'd... forgotten? So here she is, not dancing, in her usual gym outfit of soft white trousers and a mint green pajama tanktop, looking rather lost. ]

Normally, Sarai wasn't a wallflower at all. But this time...she was. She'd availed herself of one of Tony's mixed drinks, mouthing "Talk later?" at him over the music.

Really, she wasn't looking forward to that talk, but for the moment, Sarai planned to people watch and sip at her drink, and let things come as they may.

She is dressed in the spirit of the party, though she'll have to fix her onesie later--Sarai let out the seam so she could fit her tail through it!!

Curufin was standing there taking a break from dancing, sipping a drink. He was wearing the red silk shirt that Kumoko had woven for him, his orange pants, and a multicolored zip-jacket from the dressing carriage.

"Nice party, isn't it?" he remarked with a smile.
