Who: Orange Team + anyone else.
Where: Dining Car
When: Egret 7, morning
What: Eva being Eva calls an Orange Team meeting. Well, an anyone meeting, but same thing?
Warnings: None?
General
Eva's pretty sure by the time any planning is done, she's going to either have a headache, or have talked herself into croaking. At least she's not alone as a Leader, even if she is thoroughly uncertain she's doing the right thing. Leading, that is.
She might be unsure but she can and will deal with doubts later. After the mission. So, she's nursing a cup of decaffeinated tea and very much looking to get as much done as possible before they get kicked out to do the mission. "First off, how many of us are any good with the general technology the SCA's described? Second, how many of us can or are willing to fight?"
She knows she is for sure.
Pokedex
For anyone who's interested in grabbing illusion fodder, Eva's got her 'dex out and has called up the list of known* pokemon in her world, who's names are in her native language.
"Some of them are scary, some cute, some weird, but they are all monsters. I'll tell you as much about them as I can, but otherwise, the aim is to give you material for illusions. Fighting is fighting and any advantage we have is best utilised."
(1/Eva's using the Japanese names. I'll assume your character is as well when first asking Eva about the pokemon, unless it's noted you want to teach her the English names.
2/ pick a pokemon and I'll link to what it looks like in her AU (as best I can e_e)
3/ *outside Eternatus and Dynamax stuff.)

"Perfect! I'll stow that away in my memory! That must have been horrifying, to see one of those things approaching Masara. What did you do, if that happened?"

And she cuts her self off. Curufin does not need to know that. Not here, not with other ears potentially listening in. So, lies it is. "My first memory of dealing with it was five and it came to close, we fought it of course. Sometimes it died, sometimes it fled. If it died, we made use of everything."
Waste not, want not.

"You were very young to have to deal with such an attack on your community," he remarks, nonetheless. "But it seems your memories may prove to be useful to this illusion-making project. If I must make an illusion, this might be a very good bet."

"I'll make the thing look as atrocious as possible! I'll make it seem to be attacking them. That ought to get some sort of reaction from them."
[ OOC: Towards the end of the mission, he goes to join Red Team in their efforts to locate the mega-weapon and deactivate it or destroy it. Thanks to Eva, he has a fantastic illusion to invoke! ]

Alas, she does not, yet, have her Rotomi.
"That's the scariest one I can think of off the top of my head that I've seen in action."
And she's not showing the hydriegon. Nope.

"Your gyarados is pretty damn scary! I'll definitely use that image, if I have cause to use an illusion. And I rather suspect I will."

"Ice become your will and fire warm your heart, then. Or- good luck, I think, it'd translate to." There's an awkward shrug at the end.
Good place to end!
He catches the tone of her good wishes. "Thank you, Eva. And I'll wish you good luck, too. In Elvish terms, may the stars shine ever upon you. That literally means may Varda watch over you, the angelic power who made the stars. She's sort of the patron saint of wayfarers." He smiles, not minding her awkward shrug. "I'll see you during the mission, and I'll see you when it's all over."
