[As someone with a LOT of butchering experience, Glorfindel is in the kitchen, ready with sharp knives to disassemble boars and/or to teach anyone who wants to learn, how to dress meat. Feel free to come chat with him and marvel at his 5000 years of experience cutting things up.]

"Similar, but significantly bigger. If I had HeavyArms, my robot here, it would take up half a train car."

Glorfindel was taken aback. "How does something that size even move?" he asked.

"With a ridiculous amount of fuel and small moving parts that require oil to keep them from locking up." It had been absolutely filthy work to build HeavyArms, but he would happily do it all from the ground up just to have the chance to fight with it again.

"Is it steam based? Or more like the oven here on the train?" Glorfindel's experience with machinery was rather limited.

"It operates on a highly refined fuel that I don't think you would be familiar with. It has what's called a fusion reactor in it that mixes extremely small particles together with force to create energy." Not being a nuclear physicist himself, Trowa hoped his explanation would at least make sense.

Glorfindel held his hand up, which then glowed to the point you could see his bones. "So, sort of like the sun?" he asked.

"Yes, very similar." Trowa laughed softly, squinting a bit from the brightness. "Just on a smaller scale and with the energy directed to moving the arms and legs of the robot."

"But, where would we keep it?" Glorfindel asked, his practical side coming out.

"The energy source or the gundam?" Trowa couldn't help smirking a little.

[laurefindil]

"This Train is full of energy sources," Glorfindel said. "Gun-dams less so. Unless you got one stashed in the luggage car you haven't mentioned?"

Chuckling, Trowa shook his head. "I wish. But no, there's no way a Gundam would fit on this train as it is currently. But who knows what's actually powering this thing. It's one of the mysteries right up there with how did we get to the platform and why were we chosen?"

[laurefindil]

Glorfindel gave him a look. "I think we were chosen, and then ended up on the dock. And if we knew what was powering this Train, maybe we'd also know who was driving it."

“That still doesn’t explain why us and why not others.” The thought of being chosen didn’t exactly sit well with Trowa, but he understood the thought process. “If only we could get into the engine car.”

"Judging from the marks and signs on the door, we aren't the only ones curious."

Gorfindel shook his head, his hair doing something unconsciously beautiful. "Until we get some answers, I am going to do my best. You can either let it torture you or not, but I'm going to make the best of this situation for now."

"That really is all we can do, isn't it?" Trowa smiled wryly as he flipped one of the knives in his hand. "At least I won't be going into a potential threat scenario unarmed again."

He straightened out his supplies and smiled at the other. "If you come across any more knives, please let me know."
