A New Platform [Intro Post June]
On the Train
The days following the mission are relatively uneventful as people once more get used to the rhythm of life on the train. "Good morning passengers, it is day sixteen of the month of Fiddlesticks. Points have been updated on the system."
They have indeed and everyone can spend the morning shopping. Those who have been on the train a while will be expecting the second announcement that comes a few hours later.
"Shortly arriving into a designated void platform. Exit from void in ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one." A lurch and a jolt and they are soon surrounded by the fog that means they are at a platform. It is a cool day, clouds gathering threateningly though it stays dry luckily.
As usual the first to leave the train notice nothing as they walk silently, rucksacks on their backs, towards the barriers. Leviathan, Atsushi Nakajima, Spinel, Peggy Carter, Evie Grimhilde, Cal Kestiss, Gwen Stacey, Renee Corbin, Lan Jingyi, Waver Velvet, Aoko Nakamori, Namine, Jak and Marcus Wright all reach the barriers, show their tickets and disappear through, vanishing into the fog.
But on the platform itself there are many new faces. Wearing hoodies, in various states of confusion.
For New Passengers
At first all they can see is steam. Billowing around them as they come to their senses. They are standing, in clothes that are not their own, styles they might not even recognise. They are carrying a rucksack on their back. For a moment it seems to just be them, alone in the white haze but then the steam begins to fade and they realise they aren’t alone.
The platform is not large and it holds twenty six figures all facing the tracks, all dressed in cargo trousers and hoodies. The air is cool with a slight breeze. Both left and right the tracks disappear into the mist. Then there is a roaring sound and out of the fog arrives a train. Jet black with gold writing on the side. The Voidtrecker Express. There is a hiss as the doors slide open and out into the cold step a selection of people. Some are human, some are less so. Most are wearing the same hoodie in one of the four colours, red, orange, blue and purple though some are sporting different clothes in a variety of styles.
The Train
The doors hiss open. Those from the train may encourage those on the platform to board. It’s not like there is anywhere else to go and even if there was, you feel a pull. A need to board, a feeling that staying on the platform would not be a good thing. If that is not enough, there are plenty of people on the platform now, to encourage them onto the train.
Each ICP shows the same message and next to the screens there are stacks of leaflets written by those on the train, with further information. The store rooms have been restocked with plenty more bacon as well as other staples.
Passengers who are not brand new will notice a new carriage. A second gym. This one is outfitted for training with mats, fighting pads, balance beams and even climbing apparatus to help get everyone ready for the missions ahead.
New passengers will find their tickets allow them into their cabins. They may need to negotiate for beds, especially if they want a top bunk!
Room is tight but there are storage cubbies at the head of each bed, beds fold up and the bottom bunks double as benches for the small table. There is storage under those benches and you will hopefully find a pillow for your bed if it has not been nabbed by a roommate, there are also spare blankets for if it gets cold.
Departure
A second horn sounds to encourage any stragglers and the doors slide shut. Veteran passengers know what will happen next, they may wish to brief their new companions.
The train sets off, the fog obscuring the view as it picks up speed.
"Welcome aboard, passengers of the Voidtrecker Express.! A female-coded artificial sounding voice echoes throughout the train. "Please take the time to read the passenger information displayed on the Information and Communication points and familiarise yourself with the layout and emergency exits."
The train begins to tilt, leaving the ground and rising up into the fog filled sky.
"Entrance into Voidspace imminent. New passengers are advised to remain seated. Entry into Voidspace in ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one."
A shudder, a jolt, a lurch to the left. A flash of light, colourful and blinding. As quick as it happens it is done. The train seems to steady. The fog from the windows is gone now, replaced with a kaleidoscope of ever changing colours.
Welcome to the Void!

Yukito Tsukishiro/Yue | Cardcaptor Sakura - OTA
Where... Where am I?
Part Two - [A breeze ruffles his hair and then there is a sound that causes him to lift his hands to his ears to cover them. From out of the mist a train appears and slows to a stop before him. Doors open and from inside people exit and... walk past him.
Puzzled he did call to them only to be ignored. The people walk away and vanish...
But more appear. A hustle and bustle of people bringing things with them.
Yukito grows more and more confused as he stands there watching it all happen. He would grab the closest person's attention, a confused and anxious tone to his voice as he speaks.]
Uhm, excuse me? But what is going on here?
The Platform (Yue): Part One - [It wasn't long before a bright light would appear on the platform. A young man surrounded by a pure, cold white light and then a flutter of wings.
A white robed man stands, beautiful and angry, cold blue eyes scan his surroundings with growing irritation.
This place. What is it?
The Platform (Yue/Yukito): Part Two - [Frustrated with the answers he had been given, Yue had had enough.
With a powerful beat of his wings he flew straight up. He would not stay in this maddening place another moment more.
However, as he flew it became increasingly clear to him that there was no escape. He hit a wall. His eyes flashed, anger surging through him as he attempted to push through, ignoring the strange urge that suddenly overcame him to return to the ground, ignoring the annoying buzzing at his wrist.
But it was the voice in his head. The voice of the other that was bothering him the most. Begging for them to go back. Yue ignored it for as long as he could. In the end he he growled.]
To hell with you all.
[In his anger he forgot. In his anger didn't consider what he was doing. In his anger... he returned to his human form... And as he did, as the bright light vanished... Yukito began to scream as he plummeted quickly to the ground.]
Departure - [Still shaken from his ordeal, Yukito had made his way onto the train. He'd been given a leaflet and very little warning before a voice called for them to sit.
He didn't find a seat fast enough.
The train lurched and Yukito went with it, hitting a wall and sliding down it, his glasses falling off when he hit the ground.
He was not having the best of days.]
Sleeper 1, Cabin E - [Somehow his luck had changed and he found his cabin. Stepping inside he found four beds, he had no idea which would be his so rather than unpack, he moved to one of the bunks that looked freshly made and sat himself down.
He removed his glasses... And then dropped his head into his hands as a wave of exhaustion took him. And sadness.
Home. Touya... Would he see them again? Why was he even there? Nothing made sense to him.]
Wildcard - [Through the day Yukito might walk around to see where everything is. Feel free to meet him in any of the areas of the train.]
The Platform (Yue/Yukito): Part Two (others welcome to join?)
But, Eva doesn't think, she just acts: with a flash of light, Princess is out by her side. "Te! Catch him!"
The pokemon's eyes glow a soft pink as he catches the falling man via Telekinesis, though catch is all it does and Eva pitches her voice so she can be heard about the hubbub of the crowd.
"Hey! Can anyone get up there? Princess can't hold him that long!"
And she really doesn't want to play the catch-release-catch game to get him down safely.

And then with a sudden jolt he was stopped, but he was stopped in mid air. Hanging there motionless.
Yukito was breathing hard, panicked beyond anything he had ever experienced before, sure that he was going to die... And then he passed out. The stress too much for him to deal with. He went limp within the hold that was keeping him stationary in the air.
no subject
Quickly activating his innocence he used the white cowl to move himself. "I got him." Thankfully Allen could get high enough to take the other carefully before the cowl slowly lowered him down.
"There we go."

Sleeper 1, Cabin E
She made sure that her eyes were visible, blind-white and still swollen with irritation from crying. She wanted the guy to make it obvious if he was gonna move towards her. Not that he looked up to much, but. ]
W-who's there?
no subject
He grabbed for the glasses he had placed beside himself and pushed them on so he could actually see who the voice belonged to. And blinked at the young girl. She looked to have been crying. She looked...]
My name is Yukito. I'm sorry, I didn't realise you were here.
[He spoke in a gentle voice and smiled, injecting that sound into his voice also, since it appeared the girl was blind.]
I'm sorry if I disturbed you?
no subject
She realised, simultaneously, where she'd seen him before. He was the guy who'd grown wings and then fallen, right? She thought back, and, yeah, he'd definitely screamed. It was okay to recognise his voice. ]
Mn, it's fine. Big brother-- ah, Yukito? Your voice. Was that you screaming before..?

Platform Part 2
[A burst of purple light shoots out of it, racing across the platform towards where the boy is falling. It isn't going to hit him, but it doesn't need to -- as soon as it gets close enough, Orisa triggers the energy pulse that disrupts the containment field. No longer shielded, the gravitic reaction yanks everything nearby into it. Which is mainly the boy, and though as soon as the energy dissipates he'll be falling again, now the height is only a couple of feet.]
no subject
Before he could open his mouth to scream again though, he'd landed on the platform with a bump.
And there he lay, eyes tightly closed, hands pressed to his chest over his rapidly beating heart, and did his best to calm down.
He felt sick.
no subject
Are you all right? Preliminary sensory analysis indicates your vitals are within acceptable levels, but that's assuming you have human or humanlike physiology.
[Not everyone did! The train had taught her that!]

Platform: Part Two
Not when he first arrived. he is rather unremarkable as an existence overall. But then he changed and suddenly there was long white hair and wings and Xue Yang couldn't help but be fascinated. And so he watched him for a few minutes as the winged version grew irritated, his personality a stark contrast from the one before.
And when he flew into the air, Xue Yang finally stood up and walked over to see if that little experiment got him anything. It didn't, of course..but it seems the winged one's temper leaves little care for the body he occupies and soon the original man is dropping.
Xue Yang is already in position, although not tall by any means (but at 180 cm don't you dare call him short), he is strong and catches the other man easily in his arms, causing just a small bend of his knees for support.]
Good to know that attempting to fly out of here isn't going to work.
no subject
Until he landed. Strong arms caught him and the jolt was enough to bring him back with a gasp and the smallest of struggles, until he realised he wasn't actually hurt, and a voice was speaking to him.
So he calmed, breathing quicker he looked at who had him in confusion and surprise.]
What...? No. No, I... I believe that was a very bad idea...
no subject
What was that, just now? That was very clearly a different person that you are so how did you do that?

departure
But despite Alice's exasperation at seeing this occur for the umpteenth time, she's not actually cruel enough to just remain seated once the train is properly moving and watch him lie there miserably.
She picks up the glasses as she finds them lying on the ground before crouching down in front of the miserable pile of human now on the floor. ]
You really should've listened to that voice. [ Hey, Alice. Small hint. Most people would first ask if he's okay! ]
no subject
Oh, thank you! I can't lose those.
[He took them and gave them a quick once over to make sure they hadn't been broken or chipped before he slipped them on his face. Now he could properly see the woman crouched in front of him.]
Thank you, miss. You're right, I should have listened. I'm just a little... Well, that doesn't matter. But thank you for your help.
no subject
Oh, don't worry. You'll surely find a lot more of that here. [ Only Alice could say that in a tone that doesn't sound entirely happy.. It's just weird, okay! She doesn't know how to deal with it! ] If anything, next time you will most likely have someone helping you a lot more enthusiastically. People are truly strangely helpful in this place.

"Would you like a hand up?" he asks. He is careful not to ask if the other is okay. None of them were on their first day. Some still aren't. "Perhaps we should go to the kitchen and get you something to eat or a hot beverage? Do you like...cheese pastries? or tea?" Once the other was ready, he handed him back his glasses.
Why yes, he is glowing, thank you very much.
no subject
Once he was on his feet and he was able to put his glasses on again, he gave the man a warm, wide smile of gratitude. "... All of those sound really good about now." He admitted, a moment before his stomach decided to growl.

"Kitchen is this way," he said, leading the way. "I am happy to answer any questions you might have, as well." For example, why did he not make any noise as he walked, even from the bells at his waist?

[ And with that, Bryn hooks her arm under Yukito's and cheerily hefts him back onto his feet, whether or not he actually wants or needs the help. ]
You're the one who tried to fly out of here, is that right?
no subject
You saw that, did you?
[So many years keeping it a secret back home and Yue ruins it all in a matter of minutes in front of dozens of strangers, leaving him to deal with the fallout. The winged idiot had a lot to answer for.]

Khary had been stretching his legs on the platform when he spotted... something. He meandered on over there and stopped. "White wings. That's a new one by me," he admitted, hands casually in his pockets.
no subject
He continued to look around, each person a stranger to him. The place unknown. The more he saw the more he grew angry. This was not where he belonged. And when he looked up, a dark, hazy sky with no moon. What kind of place had no moon? His eyes narrowed and a single hand balled into a fist at his side.
"... Leave."

Platform Yue - Part One
This is a void platform, where the Voidtrecker picks up passengers.
platform (Yukito) part 1
You're on a Void platform, and in a few minutes you'll be boarding the Voidtrecker Express with the rest of us. I'm Curufin Fëanorion, by the way, an Elf of the First Age of Arda, which is to say Middle-earth. Not that that will necessarily mean anything to you, but I usually say it when I'm introducing myself. You can ask me any questions you might have. I've been on the train for nine months, earthly months, that is. So, I know a few things about the train and our situation.
