A Fluffy New Friend
Who: Lan WangJi and you!
What: WangJi has a new pet and is showing it around the train
Where: Greenhouse, Dining room, around
When: Fiddlesticks 17 and 18
Warnings: fluff? literal and figuartive
WangJi was happy. How could he not be when the best husband he could ask for gifted him with a white rabbit. Rabbits were his favorite and he liked them. Now he had one of his own.
Of course, he wouldn't be a responsible pet owner if he didn't show his pet around the train so it could be used to the accommodations... and the fact that their home moved even though most of the time it wasn't too noticeable.
But he could easily be found around on arrival day with the rabbit safely tucked in his arms, still clearly visible so it could look around and see and greet others.
Prior to mealtime, WangJi could be found in the dining car sitting at one of the tables, letting the rabbit stretch its legs for a few minutes and look around. Yes, the rabbit was on the table, but he wasn't letting it out of arms reach just in case. Luckily, it seemed more content to just sit for the moment.
Where the rabbit was most happy was in the garden car. It had the chance to run around a bit in there and as long as it stayed away from the plants other passengers were growing, WangJi let it explore and walk on its own though he was not far away to make sure it didn't get anything it shouldn't.

"It was worked out based on what you said?"

"Yeah - or, it could be put, it has always been worked out. That's the trouble with working with Beings from outside of Time."
Here, it was less complicated. Here, there were bunnies instead of Beings.

It was true. Bunnies were far less complicated. Little Rabbit was enjoying pets but soon wiggled out, one of the flowers in the garden having caught his attention. Oooo, flower.

"Most worlds don't, from what I've seen. Home's a real oddball."
Even having other wizards from home here was a change from the 'norm' her life had acquired in Nautilus.
Letting Little Rabbit go free, Nita held her hand in mid-air a few moments before pulling it back and straightening up.
"Any plans on getting him some company soon? Or will it be better to wait, let him adjust to the rest of this first?"

Which applied to most of this train, but still.
"I am thinking I will. He will be happier having another friend of his own kind of spend time with. He might become bored if he relies only on me and my family."
Oh, the irony of that last line... :'D
"Well, if you need an extra hand to help out, I'm game."
That was not an intentional pun on rabbits being 'game' meat...
He has so many ironic tags right now
He didn't even pick up on that. He didn't meat so unless someone had been more obvious with the implication, he would assume it was innocent.
Meanwhile; thread wrap?
Three cheers for failed puns!
Sounds good.
Since the rabbit was now doing his own thing and WangJi should be watching him.
