There is a dented and battered thermos lying on the floor of the garden car, with no clues on where it came from or who left it there.

"What? No, pretty sure you still can't buy these anywhere. My parents invented them, and I brought it from home." He makes a face. "I dropped it? And it must have hit just the right angle."

Oh, of course. Why wouldn't a young human just carry around the one thing that could hurt them. Glorfindel rubbed his forehead.

"Perhaps you should leave it in your cabin, usually? Even if it also works as an ordinary thermos, there are safer ones to use." he suggests.

She holds out the thermos to Danny, making the sure the opening - even with the lid capped back on - is facing away from Danny.

"Here," she says.

"Thanks!" He checks the cap quickly, then casually hooks it onto his belt loop.

"If I leave it in my cabin, Its guaranteed that that's going to be the one time I really need it," Danny tells Glorfindel. "I've fought ghosts before without an easy way to catch them, and I really don't recommend it."
