"Danny?" she called, unaware of the other person in the Garden car at the time. "Are you in here?"
no subject
(Okay, so he didn't actually have hands to pound right now. It was kind of the same thing.)
Outside, all that can be heard is a very quiet and muffled voice, and the slightest hint of movement from the thermos.

"You're looking for Danny? I just came from the other direction and didn't see him." Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that Danny didn't slip by out of sight.
He debated whether to finish unscrewing the lid or fasten it back up and check it later.

She sighed a bit, still wondering where the other teen had gotten to. Then, noticing the thermos Glorfindel was holding, she couldn't help asking, "What's that?"

Outside the thermos, he was barely audible.

Metaphorically because he was technically just a mass of really uncomfortably compressed ghost energy right now, and he didn't actually have fists.

Cautiously, he unscrewed the top, holding it away from his face in case there was an angry creature inside.

And she couldn't help being curious as she looked on while he unscrewed the top of the thermos. "Is there anything inside?"
no subject
Inside Danny was suddenly hopeful. Someone was obviously there on the outside. He abandons his attempt to pound on the thermos casing, and puts everything into shouting as loud as he can.
"PUSH. THE. BUTTON."

Glorfindel tilted his head, he was very sure he heard something that time? "Push...the...button?" He looked at the thermos again, looking for whatever button it was.
"The light...feels familiar," he told Kitty.
no subject
"You mean this button?" she asked, pressing the most noticeable button she found on the side.
no subject
"Remind me not to do that again."

"Danny! Are you all right? What was that?"
no subject
"Uh, so I kind of got stuck in there earlier? Thanks for letting me out?"
no subject
"Do we need fear this happening again?" he asked instead.
no subject
"...What is that thermos for?"
no subject
"Catching ghosts?" And since he was a ghost right now, that part probably didn't take any more explaining.
"And... I can't actually say it won't happen again? My sister accidentally caught me four times in one night once."
He shakes his head and floats back up into the air. "I'm okay. It doesn't hurt in there, you know? Its just really, really cramped."

"Perhaps you should leave it in your cabin, usually? Even if it also works as an ordinary thermos, there are safer ones to use." he suggests.
no subject
"Here," she says.
no subject
"If I leave it in my cabin, Its guaranteed that that's going to be the one time I really need it," Danny tells Glorfindel. "I've fought ghosts before without an easy way to catch them, and I really don't recommend it."
