Who: Yugi Mutou and Open
What: Yugi making a mess coming up with gaming ideas as well as playing games to see how they worked. There might also be some actually pondering of what he might be doing next mission.
When: Day 26
Where: Gaming Carriage, Dining Carriage
Warnings: None that I know of.
Dining Carriage
Yugi never really used his notebook all that much, but today was a different story. Today was the day he was using it to jot down various notes. Pausing at each page he soon found himself frustrated ripping out the paper and simply leaving it to the side.
This happened at least a few more times as he sighed, leaning forward in defeat for the time being.
"None of those ideas work in a game format. Besides, I have to take into account what we actually have here and the technology we got to work with." And with that in mind, he was starting to play with the pen a little bit, soon finding himself deep in thought and not paying attention to those around him.
Gaming Carriage Part 1
Yugi had soon gotten an idea to play some of the games, see how they played, get some ideas of how everything worked. As much information as he could get to figure out his own idea of a game. So he had picked out a few games that he had somehow managed to not get around to playing or that normally he wouldn't have thought of playing, but he knew with playing them he could learn more about the mechanics of gaming and maybe that would help him in the long run.
So sitting in one of the bean chairs he started up the first game and started to play. Once again he seemed to be focused on what was in front of him and not what could be going on around him.
Gaming Carriage Part 2
After having played a few games Yugi was sitting in the bean chair and simply looking through his deck that eh always had on him. His thoughts soon were on an idea that had come to him during his last talk with Kaiba. Missions always seemed to involve fighting and Yugi wasn't the biggest fan of using violence. So he had been sorting out his deck for the purpose of an idea that he had in mind, something that he hoped would work in the next mission.
But he didn't want to let any of his friends or boyfriend know what he had been planning, mainly out of the worry that they might try and talk him out of it. So putting his deck away he started to look around to see if there was anyone close by before speaking up.
"Excuse me, can I ask you moment? It won't take long I promise."

It also had him move off what he was meant to be doing in the first place now that he thought about it.
"I have another question. Other teams usually deal with some form of fighting? Do you know if what you are fighting could get distracted in anyway?"
no subject
He thought for a moment though, "You mean make the monsters think about other things rather than fighting us?"
That was what distracted meant...
no subject
"But I mean to get them to maybe focus on something that isn't the person they were after in the first place."
no subject
"Sometimes it works, its best if you got attacks you can do from a distance. So if I throw a borderline at a monster and shout they might come try and eat me instead of my friends!"
no subject
"Though I was more thinking holograms being used to confuse them, or at least seeing if that can possibly work in anyway. If it doesn't then getting hurt would be okay and I learned something."
no subject
He doesn't know that word! Not knowing words happens less now then when he had first woke up in heaven but it can still be a little tricky!

"I know someone who would be better at explaining what a hologram is since they are the ones to make this, but in this case, a hologram is an image that is formed by using the cards here" he had picked one out; a Kuriboh to be exact.
"And when this is placed down the hologram will form the image that is on the card... Doesw that make any sense?" As he spoke he had placed it on thee Duel disk to reveals a cute little brown fluff ball.
no subject
A hologram was a picture formed out of cards, he nodded slowly, it didn't quite make sense but once the card was placed on the dual deck he gasped. "Oh! Just like when we get mission words! But pictures! That's really cool." He reached out to touch it, to see if his hand would go through it.
"It's cute!"
no subject
"He's weak when it comes to attack and defense but he has an ability that can come in handy, though it's quite a sad one too when you think about it."
no subject
"What's the ability? Why is it sad?"
no subject
no subject
But he sounds fascinated.
no subject
He knew if anyone was interested he was one of the people to go to. "I will be happy to teach you since we added the game to the game card a short while ago."
no subject
"How do you play?"
no subject
"Well I think the first thing we should do is find the case with some cards Kaiba brought in and make a quick deck just for the lesson. If that is okay"
no subject
"Where do we find it? Is it in here?"
He jumps up to look around for a case.
no subject
People normally go with a theme such as luck or cute animals for just examples."
no subject
Was this game like go fish? He has no idea, they don't look like normal cards to him!

"Okay! I think I will need help, how do I know what the spells are?"
no subject
Traps he explained are more to stop monsters in thier tracks or make it hard to get at life points.
no subject
"It sounds so complicated! But also fun! How many cards do I need to pick?"
no subject
"You don't need an exact number of each type of card, just enough that it works for your deck."
no subject
"Okay! This might take a long time..."
So much choice, so many to choose...
no subject
Better to be slow and steady and have a decent deck than worry and pick cards that might not work.
wanna wrap?
