Who: Yugi Mutou and Open
What: Yugi making a mess coming up with gaming ideas as well as playing games to see how they worked. There might also be some actually pondering of what he might be doing next mission.
When: Day 26
Where: Gaming Carriage, Dining Carriage
Warnings: None that I know of.
Dining Carriage
Yugi never really used his notebook all that much, but today was a different story. Today was the day he was using it to jot down various notes. Pausing at each page he soon found himself frustrated ripping out the paper and simply leaving it to the side.
This happened at least a few more times as he sighed, leaning forward in defeat for the time being.
"None of those ideas work in a game format. Besides, I have to take into account what we actually have here and the technology we got to work with." And with that in mind, he was starting to play with the pen a little bit, soon finding himself deep in thought and not paying attention to those around him.
Gaming Carriage Part 1
Yugi had soon gotten an idea to play some of the games, see how they played, get some ideas of how everything worked. As much information as he could get to figure out his own idea of a game. So he had picked out a few games that he had somehow managed to not get around to playing or that normally he wouldn't have thought of playing, but he knew with playing them he could learn more about the mechanics of gaming and maybe that would help him in the long run.
So sitting in one of the bean chairs he started up the first game and started to play. Once again he seemed to be focused on what was in front of him and not what could be going on around him.
Gaming Carriage Part 2
After having played a few games Yugi was sitting in the bean chair and simply looking through his deck that eh always had on him. His thoughts soon were on an idea that had come to him during his last talk with Kaiba. Missions always seemed to involve fighting and Yugi wasn't the biggest fan of using violence. So he had been sorting out his deck for the purpose of an idea that he had in mind, something that he hoped would work in the next mission.
But he didn't want to let any of his friends or boyfriend know what he had been planning, mainly out of the worry that they might try and talk him out of it. So putting his deck away he started to look around to see if there was anyone close by before speaking up.
"Excuse me, can I ask you moment? It won't take long I promise."

Part 2
"What is it?"

Once, Conan would have tried to add an explanation about this about being a kid and of course he hadn't really been involved in other fighting.
But after some of the stunts he'd pulled on the train there wasn't really much of a point to pretending that he wasn't a ridiculously competent kid.

"So...they do. That actually helps me a lot, so thank you for explaining what you could anyway"

Though she actually had been about to leave and head maybe to the library when a voice caught her attention, and she turned around to find the other teen.
"Sure," she replied when she realized he was talking to her. "What's up?"

But what was he going to ask? He had already asked about the teams and what thier jobs sort of were, the next best thing was to maybe figure out if distractions in actual battle could possibly work.
"This... might seem like an odd question, but this will be leading into another but until you came onto this train have you ever been on something like missions before?"

But he grinned at Yugi and went over when he asked if he had a moment. He was happy to help people at any times and he hasn't seen Yugi in a while!
"Do you need help with something?"

"What... game is this?" he asked curiously now much closer than he had been before as if he was trying to study it.
Re: =o
"Chess." Now he was clearly and more obviously amused. "Care to learn?" he asked, gesturing towards the empty seat across from him.

Hopefully, Yugi won't mind the interruption from his notebook, Tidus with a drink from the tea machine and on the other side of the table, a small but friendly smile on his face. He knows that should mean to leave the guy to it, but he can't help but to be curious.

[ Does she look entirely too enthused about this? Is she just delighted at the opportunity to kill some time when she's absolutely dying of boredom? The answer to both of these questions is a resounding "yep". ]
What is it you need?

[He knew that he was going to at least explain that a little bit more.]
When you have been on missions what is it you do?

[ Bryn has been Worm Off The String since the day she was born. ]
I help out on whatever it is we're there to do, of course, but I simply do it in my own way rather than following along with the little tasks we're given to do.

[It was more to try and get an understanding of what she meant, but what she said was at least interesting, doing a task in your own way rather than doing it the way one might think to. At least he assumed that was what is meant.]
