Let's Have a Party!
Who: Everyone!
What: Throwing a party
Where: Gym carriage
When: Early Evening- early morning, Apple 28
It was three days after the incident with the train and right at two weeks since they'd been allowed to get off this train and roam a new world. Sure somewhere in there, they'd had a brief reprieve involving a new platform and mess of newcomers, but that had hardly counted as a break from the train. So, the point was, they needed a chance to blow off some steam. What better way than organize a party and roll out the last of his ale to share?
He'd recruited Sarai and Maglor to play their harps and/ or sing for music; Ignis, Ash and Evie to make hors d'oeuvres, Dread and Peter to bring in some chairs; and rigged a lamp and some cloth to make a disco ball-like display in the room (which he made Peter to promise not to touch).
Now he just had to get the guests on the dance floor... to harp music? He misses 'regular' music. Sigh.

Re: Dancing!
As he turns her in his arms, they pause. He looks down at her surprised that she stopped only for his eyebrows to rise when she starts pointing out what he wasn't doing right. His smile fades to a thin hard line. There were some comments lingering behind his teeth, but he was trying not to say them. This was a party and he was wanting people to enjoy themselves, not see a fight. "Right then. Good luck finding another who is up to your standards." Okay, so he almost managed not to say it.
Re: Dancing!
“Oh, my God I’m sorry. It’s habit. I was teaching my dad how to waltz for some stupid police officers ball he had to go to a few weeks ago in my world and the habit to give it pointers just stuck. I really did not mean to be an ass just now. It’s not my standards. I promise. It’s really just impulse.”
Oh man does she feel gross now.
“You’re doing fine. I promise. I’ll stop with the bull unless you ask.”
Re: Dancing!
"I see," he said, visibly relaxing a bit at her explanation. Alright, now he feels kind of like a heel for overreacting. "Well.. it has been quite a few years since I had a lesson. Perhaps a few more wouldn't hurt." It was as close to an apology he was going to give, but he offers to take her hand again. "My main partner is actually only about.. this tall." He gestures to the height of young child. "She also likes to just stand on my feet, which I appreciate you aren't doing."
