Who: Two idiots (Inigo and Tidus)
When: Grasshopper 14
Where:Inside a cheeseburger Tidus' room, and then.. well, idk, somewhere. Probably. You'll hear them.
What: Inigo made a promise to Taiki and he's intending to live up to it.
Warnings: None. Only the secondhand embarrassment you get when you read this.
Okay, so technically his promise to Taiki doesn't mean as much anymore now Gyousou is back. He can't exactly yell at the train about why it'd take Gyousou away if the man is now back with Taiki.
But he's still going to do it. Especially since it's already been the second time that Gyousou disappeared from the train, and if there's a way, then Inigo would really prefer to make sure it doesn't happen again. He can't quite take the way Taiki always looks so heartbroken whenever it happens. And sure, there's a big chance nothing will come from this, but sometimes yelling about your grievances might be a good thing? Maybe?
Who knows, Inigo doesn't practice self care. He sure doesn't know!
But he knows someone who's way too good at complaining. And who's just.. too powerful. Someone needs to stop Tidus. But not today, because today Inigo sure could use his help. And hopefully the other is a little more well-rested now it's not directly after the mission anymore?
So.. once more, Tidus will hear banging on the door to his room.
"Tidus! Tidus, it's me again! Erm, this time.. it's slightly less pressing? But I still need your help! Pretty please?"

Not that she had a preference in who typed, necessarily...
"You can both type it, how's that?"
no subject
At least Inigo seems to easily agree with her suggestion, already moving to grab Tidus by the arm to drag him over.
"She's right, you type! And I'll make sure we don't sound rude. That's my speciality, actually!" Yeah right, Inigo.
no subject
But here he is at the terminal with Inigo. Ugh...
"You stick your ticket in," he directs impatiently. Huff. "I'll type."
The train listening to them totally won't know what they're doing!
Please link to whatever the resulting Feedback comment is! XD
Though speaking of impressions, she redirects her focus to the train itself again as Inigo and Tidus figure out what to type.
And also finishes her sandwich and pockets the napkin, because why not.
no subject
Inigo doesn't protest to that in the slightest. Maybe since he is aware he's dragging around a tired Tidus - though seemingly more energetic by now - around once more, and it's not like he wants to cause him any real trouble. So he just sticks his ticket right into the machine, like he has full trust in Tidus.
"Just don't use any rude words! And remember to say please and thank you!"
no subject
He tappa tappa tappas in a message, and hits send.
no subject
Maybe it was closer? But she couldn't say for sure.
no subject
"Perfect!" See, Tidus? It's not so difficult to have manners, now is it?
Though as he turns to consider Nita's answer and look at her, the grin grows a bit smaller.
"It's paying attention, but it's still not giving us anything more than the default answer? It makes messages appear on these things all the time though, so it's not like it can't just send us an answer this way!"
no subject
"It usually just sends the same response over and over," Tidus says, lacking the same optimistic as his guy friend to give him hope. It's too early for this (for some people (just tidus)).
"What you want me to put in now?"
A question for either of them.
no subject
"Maybe it's not 'supposed' to do that... Ask something that the void ministry wouldn't know about us, maybe?"
If it's a confusing request, that's because it's the point; how does the train act when confused?
no subject
"Huh? Why?" At least Inigo knows about the whole void ministry deal - or well, as much as anyone on the train does, anyway. It's just the request by itself that surprises him. "Are you trying to do something, Nita?"
no subject
"You mean-- ask something personal? Or bring up the ministry?"
He could put in something personal, he supposes... his mind is already trying to think of what while he waits for her response.

...
...he steps back towards Inigo, leaning in to whisper. "Hey. What's something the train knows the ministry don't?"
no subject
.. but apparently Tidus hasn't got this. Inigo looks a mix of surprised and offended as he whispers right back: "How would I know?!"
He's not being that unhelpful though, okay, since a moment later it does seem like Inigo is at least trying to think of something. But it's a Process, that's for sure. You can hear the Jeopardy music playing somewhere.. "I.. I guess it probably doesn't know we were taken here involuntarily..?"
Beautiful, how they're discussing this as if Nita isn't right there.
no subject
Whisper whispering, of course. Don't mind them, Nita. They're being very discreet about this!
no subject
She'll give them as much time as they need, waiting for them to actually address her and say they've got something.
no subject
Even though said two braincells aren't enough to notice Nita's amusement, apparently.
"Ask that, but in a nice way! Like.. put 'would you please tell us why' in front of it or something like that! You always get further with niceness than by being rude!"
no subject
But he'll turn back to the terminal with a grumble face on. UGH. Time to TAPPA TAPPA A VERY POLITE MESSAGE, HE GUESSES.
no subject
He glances sideways, off at Nita, giving her a double thumbs up to indicate it's great, they've got this, don't worry about them--
But then he glances back to the screen, noticing the two messages Tidus sent.
Using his ticket.
"Tidus!"
no subject
Nita cannot let herself facepalm at this, though she very much wants to. But then, it's not like she can see the screen...
"What happened?"
Meanwhile, she's still paying attention to the train's own- ambiance? Whatever.
It hasn't changed, anyway; she tries not to make a face, as it'd give the two boys the wrong impression.
"Whatever it is, the train's still listening."
no subject
"I asked it why it was taking us! It didn't do nothing different? Not even a lil'?"
There was absolutely nothing odd included in that.
no subject
Forget this. Forget their little mission to find out what the train does or doesn't react to. Inigo is way too stuck in toddler phase right now to care much about that, and despite being a fully grown 17 year old, he's moving from his position next to Tidus over to Nita, clinging to her arm and sniffing.
"Tidus is sending weird messages to the train using my ticket! Now it's going to think I'm.. I'm an oddball!" The absolute horror.
no subject
"Apparently I sent... some pretty weird ones after that one time at the party- no, Bobo, you don't need to quote them at me!"
She scowls, though it is purely at the voice of wizardry in her head which is laughing at her, rather than the two people with her.
"So... I think it'll be fine, though I can clarify that it was Tidus texting and not you if that helps."
no subject
"Hey, I didn't send anything weird, okay! I sent what Inigo told me to!"
He looks over at Inigo.
And slowly starts to grin.
