1. aid // for purple team CR:
2. cleaning:
3. around
( ooc: Tidus will easily approach others so if you want to set up a thread where he'd need to be the one to say hi, go for it! above is some areas where he'd be to do such or even for your character to do it first. o7 )

1. aid // for purple team CR:
- Tidus has an objective, first coming from a bet of 'who can get the most points!' to 'okay, but do you get anything out of doing chores than the sense of self-satisfaction of helping out the community (pffft, boriiing)'? That's what Tidus wants to do, and suuure, he really has no reason to think that chores gives you anything when he hasn't...been the best at them, but.
That's not stopping his little inner nag from wanting him to find out, and what better way to run experiments with a friendly face? Perhaps an unsuspecting one, when he comes to a Purple-clothed team and starts, with a bright and familiar face on him.
"Heyyy. You free?"
2. cleaning:
- ( a. kitchen ) Or maybe he's already recruited your character, they were already there to do chores, or they just happen to be in the kitchen at the time, which great! Tidus is easy with conversation, piping up with a "Hey!" to anyone that comes into the kitchen, and for those he's already with, ask, "You meet anyone interesting on the platform?", "You order anything in?", "So, what'd you think about that last mission?"
Despite this, he is trying to do as much he can think of to do: Put the plates and cutlery through the dishwashers, set them aside to be put away again; mopping the floor (and even saying to those he's partnered with beforehand, 'I'll do the floor', like it's his personal mission). And he's fine with clearing up some of the trays and bowls by hand in the sink, but he's...rather awkward about it. Minding how deep his left hand goes in, his SCA still strapped around his wrist, and doing what he can to make sure it doesn't hit the water. And maybe even looking around and seeing if there's anything he can put around it. Can he tuck kitchen roll around it...? ...he does try...
( b. bathrooms ) lol no he won't and YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM.
3. around
- Otherwise, Tidus can be found around normally on the train. He's often trying out the sports in the gynasium, from badminton, tennis, to volleyball, and if your character happens to like to join there too, he won't be afraid to ask, "Hey, mind if I join in?"; he's on the lookout to see who's into sports, or who might be checking out the room with interest.
He also takes part in the training gym, whether in one of the group sessions or taking time in it setting up obstacles with the balancing beams, ropes, and so forth. The floor is lava and you need to run across the beams, jumping onto the climbing set and swing across the next lot! He's a monkey with too much energy. Or maybe your character is already up to something in there?
Tidus does know how to do chill however. Find him in the cinema car watching what's already playing or some dumb comedy, or even in the music car to see what tunes are available for his SCA. There's a also a chance of finding him on the upper quiet car floor, the doors closed and...he's sitting cross-legged on the floor between the couches, his eyes closed and head slightly hanging. What. Knock on the door, or leave him be?
Also, maybe he'll be checking out a random pet wandering around. Heyy there little guuuyy how friendly are you? Insert your pal [here].

Even just two people with rackets, which Tidus will grab with his goofing around with the ball ended. He swings with some in replace, letting its circular spoon end knock up and down.
"After we're done! I don't want you poppin' a lung tryin' to hold your breath like a pro during a game!" Which he knows Roland wouldn't try (right?), but hey, it's fun to say, isn't it? He chucks the yellow ball up, catches it as it comes down.
"Who's serving then? Me?"

"This is your first time playing tennis, yeah? Help me out here, take that other end." The racket is set down against a wayside chair and he stretches it to its entire length, eyelets fitting easily into the upward hooks that stand out from the wall. It's a simple enough task, so he knows he doesn't need to tell Tidus what to do, though his gaze does drift from time to time, watching him adjust and then adjusting himself right back for the right height.
For all the train puts them through, Roland is mildly perturbed that they can think of detailed things like hooks on walls for something as simple as ball games to spend their time with.

"I don't usually bother with this!" But he grabs the side of the net Roland isn't working on, the squared hatching spreading out with the material. "I haven't played tennis a lot--I play badminton with Inigo and a friend, Taiki! He likes the softer games."
Badminton didn't have to be soft, but it was easier to make 'soft' than tennis. Tidus finds the hooks to keep it up and spread, taking a second to see that Roland's got his side done.
"I know how to do the throw and hit of the ball. I've played a few games with the wall." And he mimics the wave of a racket for emphasis, going back over to grab his real one.

"Taiki? Wow, he plays ball games? Huh." And it's not a jab at the boy, no. The shift is subtle, but Roland's eyes grow only a tad bit wide, his face falling into an expression of...awe? He returns to the other end of the narrow lane and starts up again, another practice swing to warm up his arms one last time. I mean, if Lofty can direct skits and Alisandra can fall in love...Kingmakers really are something else.
"We can switch to badminton later, I know how to play that too. A little better than tennis, I think. But let's focus on this for now. Ready to receive." He smiles, crouched and ready, the racket twirling twice in his hands. "This isn't a court so we don't have to worry about the zones. So go wild."

A small story shared while Roland gets himself in position, Tidus doing the same to stand in place--where that is, mostly what he thinks is a good distance between the pair, aided by the net and where Roland stands too. And listen to the old man go again, while Tidus takes out the fluffed yellow ball, shifting his standing position to get ready for the serve. But then he pauses before throwing out his hands, as if distracted.
"Oh, sorry, you sure you don't wanna set up your zones? It's not a proper game of tennis without the zones!"
Yeah, he's just sassing Roland for the net. What's new? Or even a better question is, are they ever going to actually play a game?

...but he'll put a damn good match for him, that much he can promise.
