1. aid // for purple team CR:
- Tidus has an objective, first coming from a bet of 'who can get the most points!' to 'okay, but do you get anything out of doing chores than the sense of self-satisfaction of helping out the community (pffft, boriiing)'? That's what Tidus wants to do, and suuure, he really has no reason to think that chores gives you anything when he hasn't...been the best at them, but.
That's not stopping his little inner nag from wanting him to find out, and what better way to run experiments with a friendly face? Perhaps an unsuspecting one, when he comes to a Purple-clothed team and starts, with a bright and familiar face on him.
"Heyyy. You free?"
2. cleaning:
- ( a. kitchen ) Or maybe he's already recruited your character, they were already there to do chores, or they just happen to be in the kitchen at the time, which great! Tidus is easy with conversation, piping up with a "Hey!" to anyone that comes into the kitchen, and for those he's already with, ask, "You meet anyone interesting on the platform?", "You order anything in?", "So, what'd you think about that last mission?"
Despite this, he is trying to do as much he can think of to do: Put the plates and cutlery through the dishwashers, set them aside to be put away again; mopping the floor (and even saying to those he's partnered with beforehand, 'I'll do the floor', like it's his personal mission). And he's fine with clearing up some of the trays and bowls by hand in the sink, but he's...rather awkward about it. Minding how deep his left hand goes in, his SCA still strapped around his wrist, and doing what he can to make sure it doesn't hit the water. And maybe even looking around and seeing if there's anything he can put around it. Can he tuck kitchen roll around it...? ...he does try...
( b. bathrooms ) lol no he won't and YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM.
3. around
- Otherwise, Tidus can be found around normally on the train. He's often trying out the sports in the gynasium, from badminton, tennis, to volleyball, and if your character happens to like to join there too, he won't be afraid to ask, "Hey, mind if I join in?"; he's on the lookout to see who's into sports, or who might be checking out the room with interest.
He also takes part in the training gym, whether in one of the group sessions or taking time in it setting up obstacles with the balancing beams, ropes, and so forth. The floor is lava and you need to run across the beams, jumping onto the climbing set and swing across the next lot! He's a monkey with too much energy. Or maybe your character is already up to something in there?
Tidus does know how to do chill however. Find him in the cinema car watching what's already playing or some dumb comedy, or even in the music car to see what tunes are available for his SCA. There's a also a chance of finding him on the upper quiet car floor, the doors closed and...he's sitting cross-legged on the floor between the couches, his eyes closed and head slightly hanging. What. Knock on the door, or leave him be?
Also, maybe he'll be checking out a random pet wandering around. Heyy there little guuuyy how friendly are you? Insert your pal [here].

Items from other places were certainly something even after he's been to so many worlds. After giving it the once over looks wise he put it on, in this instance the upper right arm as it seemed like the easiest place to put it and also because his left arm had the whole changing thing and in his mind if he had to sue such a thing when he is fighting then would it vanish? So right arm better choice.
"Okay, so if I understand completely I will feel a warmth?" That seemed perfectly okay as he looked at the ball, taking into account what he has been told. Hole in the wall... Seemed easy enough to picture and he soon managed to make the ball disappear and reappear even if it might have looked like a time before he was able to.

"That's it!" Tidus replies to the query, and then he allows Allen to practice, to give it a shot, ready to encourage or help if he can. But it doesn't seem he needs to when the item disappears with a sparkle of light before reappearing, and all Tidus needs to do then is grin broadly and cheer.
"Hey-ey! There you go, you did it!" Sorry to any sleeping Link Jr's for the nose--hopefully this loud mouth won't wake you! "Great! See, it's easy right? You can stick all your food in there now and whatever else you want! Roland even found you easy to make food that you just need to add water to!"
And not just stuff it in your mouth dry.
no subject
"Easy, right?" He settles his hand against his hip, casually watching Allen practice again and again. "It'll be as natural as breathing before you know it. But the more items you store inside, the more you have to focus. You don't want the wrong thing coming out at the wrong time in a fight, after all." Though he's speaking as if weapons were going to be placed inside; as Tidus had mentioned, it was mostly going to be for rations. Medicine.
"Yes, we have some rations and drinks to help you get your caloric intake in as needed. But if you can get someone to cook you food before missions too, that's fine. The Arms Band will keep them preserved, so they won't go bad." They wouldn't keep temperature - but cold food is better than spoiled, right?
no subject
"Link Jr is fine, he can sleep through a lot, but considering how quickly I got it, it is rather easy." And that was all that mattered in his mind. "And I understand, I would just stick to what would best be suitable anyway."
no subject
But he quickly looks back at Allen, smiling happily. "And yep, you got it. I know a guy who can make food in a snap, but wherever you get it, I'll buy the Arms so you can put it away. Or you can buy yourself one if you want."
He shrugs, since it was an option. Then Allen could do whatever he wanted with it.
no subject
"I'm glad you got the hang of it, Allen. Just take note: nothing alive can enter the Arms Band. Just items and weapons, and if there are skills in your weapons that need to be learned or remembered. Apart from that...Please go wild on the field again, and give it your all." He clenches his fist with a determined nod to the white-haired youth. "If you have other questions about it, don't hesitate to find me."
no subject
But Allen smiled he could tell teasing when he saw it and it was enough to cause a smile and maybe a slight chuckle at best. "I don't have questions right now, but if I ever do I will always make sure to ask."
no subject
"See? Maybe we can make Allen the official Food Guy for Purple Team," he jokes. Then again, it could be an idea. "But he's a performer back in his world, you know!" He looks over to Roland as he says that, searching for confirmation from Allen after. "Right? A travelling one? Or was that what you'd do if you could?"
They did talk about if they could be left to their own devices and go world-seeing, after all.
no subject
"A performer? Well now!" His smile grows. "Is this at all related to training to see in the dark?" Roland easily recalls the Terran mission, where Allen shares this with him for the first time. He relied on his skill then, and has not forgotten this young man's talent.
no subject
"I could always do that. Not sure how good I would be at the job though." Though it didn't sound like if he did the job he would have to stay in the backlines, which was not something he would actually do. Front lines or bust~!
But he soon nodded slightly, a soft smile on his face, this one not hiding anything beneath it. "It's kind of a mixture of both. I did do performing when I travelled with Mana and for spare money on the last two worlds I was on, but otherwise my main job kind of prevented me from doing it full time." He soon was quick to shake his head "No, that I learned after... I started travelling with my master. It was mostly as a cost saving thing."
no subject
Did Allen tell him that? Tidus remembers about the fighting against the one guy deciding he should be control of everywhere, being a performer for a while... but did that include anything about multiple worlds? Tidus was learning something new about him every single time they spoke, he felt.
no subject
He didn't think he'd be this invested in it, but it was intriguing; relevant to his interests. Roland adds to Tidus's own response, expressing his own surprise.
"Two worlds, then? You've traveled between two worlds? Consciously?"
no subject
"More than two. The first place I found myself in had like...More than ten and we were working on saving other worlds by getting them out of the darkness, so at times we would have other worlds be brought back, usually worlds connected to someone." he was going to avoid mentioning on specific one though that he knew was one of them. "The other place was just one world but with five very different cities."
no subject
"So... you did this world saving thing before... What happened there? Weren't you-- you know." He frowns, aiming for discreet. "What you told me before? Busy?"
Didn't he have another world-saving mission on his own planet? He'd be more specific, and while he trusted Roland, Tidus didn't want to go blurting anything out first. Allen apparently wasn't telling him the full story about himself--best he didn't go sharing out the bits and pieces he did know.
no subject
"I guess Allen's our go-to veteran for world saving, huh?" He says to the others, voice tinged with awe. "How, though? Through powers? Magic? A vehicle like this train, maybe?"
no subject
"Though with a few of those worlds we kind...would go through some changes in order to adapt to that world. Some were more...unusual than others." At least Halloween Town it was just, for the most part, a change of clothing. The others though...
He soon smiled "I usually was busy regardless of where I went."

2. what
It still baffles Tidus that the fact this never came up in any of their previous conversations. Was there any reason for it to? Maybe not. But it's bizarre to be standing here listening to now. What else was the guy keeping to himself? What was he talking about unusual changes? Well, probably something like how the train offers them all sorts of weird-looking gear.
"Don't tell us there was somewhere else you went after that and before you came here," Tidus remarks drily.
no subject
But for so many, and for it to be so normal...What was the reality outside of his own world even like? This was all above a President's pay grade, that's for sure.
Roland shakes his head. "Maybe this is why the Voidtrecker thought it wise to kidnap you, Allen. You seem to know more about this kind of business than anyone else." He matches Tidus's wry expression with his own. "Err, any tips for newbies like us?"
no subject
"That's kind of the only one I can think of off the top of my head."
no subject
Excuse you wait.
"What do you mean, 'I did'? I did to me, or I did to him?"
Tidus points from himself to Roland, since uhh he sure asked a thing and Allen is just standing there talking like he didn't possibly answer I did to skipping off onto new involuntary adventures?
no subject
no subject
He wondered if that made things easier or not.
no subject
Tidus looks utterly confused, and he puts a hand on the side of his temple, groaning some.
"All this world hopping... being dragged to different worlds, it's so confusing. Can't believe how often it happens..."
There's a mumbling, a grumbling, coming from him. Lost in his own thoughts and thinking about the cases he's already heard about - the one personal to himself.
no subject
"Hm. Me neither. And this is the first time veteran world-hopper Allen has heard of the famed Voidtrecker Express, too."
His fist clenches shut as he thinks about it. Stores it away for later theorizing.
no subject
And it was obvious Allen was somewhat fed up with worlds liking him enough to keep taking him from one place to another.
"We either just go along with it, or some people try and figure out the meaning behind it."

i'm very sorry for the delay! :(
