Falling fast asleep, may this little boy find blissful dreams.
Who: Allen Walker and anyone
Where: Music Carriage
When: Grasshopper Day 28
What: Allen pondering on what went on in the last world; a reminder of what might or might not happen. So he is making a choice. To speak or not to speak?
Warnings: Mentions of death are likely.
Allen very rarely came into this room, mostly because he wasn't the kind to actually want to play an instrument. But today was a rare exception as he sat at the piano, his fingers lightly touching the keys and making the occasional noise from it. It didn't seem like he was really playing it beyond that.
That was because he wasn't exactly planning to at that moment. Instead, he was thinking about what had just happened, that third memory had been something he had forgotten in the back of his mind since he had gone to Genessia. After all, he never showed signs of Nea around, so he wasn't there. But at the same time he still had the memories technically. So what did that mean?
He knew, either way, he needed to figure it out and so he placed his finger lightly on the keys and started to play a little tune. It was a reminder of the memories that he had, those that were meant to take over someday and when that does...
Shaking his head he stopped if for a moment. He knew deep down he wasn't going to let that happen, he knew he was and he was sure as hell that he was going to stay that way no matter what. But then it brought up another question. Should he tell people? After all, a complete stranger knows so...shouldn't those that he was close to knowing to?
With a small defeated sigh, he played a few notes again before once again starting with the tune again.

"You mean the memory? I was talking to my Master about well...the thing I just mentioned. Why could I play the tune and such... I got told that... Someday these memories will completely take me over and when that happens I'll kill someone I love." He put a hand behind his head rubbing it for a moment. "So yeah...the implanted memories are to take control eventually and I am meant to just... Harm someone. Of course I plan on it not happening, but at the same time I know nothing."
no subject
"Uhh, so... you already had memories in you that you didn't remember, but then...they'll take over and make you hurt someone?" It's bizarre from the get-go, Tidus not sure what to think or believe. On some level, he's trying not to think too deeply about it yet. "You know...why? Did something happen?"
no subject
"All I know is the memories are from someone who was known as the fourteenth...To go into detail I'd have to explain a lot about my world."
no subject
And what that will entail. But what did it actually mean for Allen right now?
"Have you?"
no subject
"That is the bigger problem. Or basically the guy fully taking control... But the thing is since I first started getting taken to worlds that issue has always been on the back burner and not an issue...I just worry about when it will be."
He was always going to fight when he can when it happens of course but it seemed unnerving to have such a long time and being so unsure.
no subject
But since they were already tackling the main issue, or speaking about that at the very least, Tidus still isn't sure if it's necessary. Not for a guy like him, anyway--someone who couldn't glean anything important from it.
"Is it a kind of magic...spirit thing, you think? Maybe you could try asking if there's anyone who knows anything about what's going on. Or who might be able to do something about it? There's gotta be something someone can do."
If someone started it--there had to be a way to stop it.
no subject
He just moved his right hand to his left shoulder for a moment, rubbing it slightly. "I know magic is a thing in my world, so odds are it's something like that, but it wouldn't be magic one could easily do and the only one who actually would have known more was my own master but...he isn't exactly around." That was not exactly something he wanted to really talk about much all things considering.
"I just know if the only way was to transfer it to someone else, then I won't do that."
no subject
And this, Tidus does rush a little, gesturing to himself.
"-I can ask about it, so you don't have to. It doesn't have to come back to you unless we find anything useful! But, 'I have a curse where someone's memories slowly implant in me 'til they're all that's left'-- no one needs to know anything else than that, do they?"
no subject
If it was magic, he has no way of knowing if other magic can be used. How is there a way to know? What would happen?
"But I put that down to mostly not knowing much about magic myself."
no subject
He rolls a hand as he speaks, getting out his thoughts. What was there to lose by learning and exploring their options? Tidus didn't see any risks in that.
"We might not find anything. But if we can brainstorm it more, we might find somewhere to start!"
no subject
Learning, talking, and figure out what might work and what might not. It made sense. But it also made him wonder if he should maybe try and figure the other out a bit more himself. try and come to some understanding?
"You know, this was a better talk than I honestly was expecting."
no subject
"Even if you don't have answers and it feels impossible, trying's always an option. You don't got to do it alone. Plus, magic and...mind stuff," Tidus waves a hand around his head, a drawl on the word mind, "is always complicated. Best to get help with that."
no subject
"Things might not always be easy... but I suppose that is why we work toward such things."
no subject
He raises his hands with that, a, what can anyone do? Lets his arms rest back on his legs after before he continues.
"But I'm glad you talked about it now." Well... "I'm glad you thought you could trust me? If, you know... I get people like keeping things private. Nothing wrong with that."
no subject
People like keeping things private. Allen kept a lot of things private, his past being one of the major things. Not once has he ever really talked about his childhood beyond maybe a quick something here and there. Except maybe once but not in detail.
"But that's just who I am really. I rather put problems onto myself than let others try. it's a bad habit that gets people annoyed at me."
no subject
Which Allen said he's trying, Tidus know, but he repeats it too just to show the trade in it. A fair trade!
"You don't have any other big health scares you're hiding away, do you?"
He's kinda joking, but at the same time...!
no subject
"No more secrets when it comes to health at least."
