Hey guys, forget about that public breakdown the other day. Today Inigo is on the ICP with a big smile, seeming as cheerful as ever. It's fine. It's cool.

"Good day, everyone! Tidus and I brought some things back with us from Irivar to share with everyone. So why not come over to the standard coach and see if there's anything you'd like to take with you, hm? We have quite the selection! Oh, and.. erm, Taiki, Roland, Bryn and Della.. If you could make sure to come see us, we'd appreciate it! Otherwise I might have to send Ti--"

Before Inigo can even finish the sentence, there's an offscreen obviously very Tidus-y voice calling out, "Inigo! Ask for Sakura too!"

Inigo huffs, turning his gaze to the off screen source. "I was getting to that!" (No he wasn't.) Apparently he accidentally pulled his ticket off the ICP as he starts moving away from it too, because the feed just cuts out. Just come get some sweet stuff.

Their set-up in the standard car is a simple, if messy, one. They have a few of their offered freebies on the same table they occupy, each guy facing the other, sat by the wall. From the immediate front, fragrant bags sit no bigger than a palm, a variety of scents better to tell when held to the nose. Whetstones sit stacked mostly on top of one another, and then a cluster of hair ribbons and circular hair ties behind them. Behind the bags are a few scent oils--basically, perfumes, if not very big. There's a few to choose from, but...

...not as many as there are the soaps, which take up a half of the table in their choice. It's like a lush shop here of choice, different colours and sizes.

And Inigo and Tidus? Sit there, either playing cards or fiddling through the paper craft book available from the art supplies where the old library used to be.

A chalkboard sits balanced, with the words 'FREE 2 TAKE' written in big letters. In case you missed the public announcement.

"Let's put the Arms on first - you'll see how it changes shape! Maybe... where do you think? On a foot? Or your neck?"

He's taken his band off, holding it as he looks about kirin Taiki, wondering where it'll be best to try it. Mainly just to show off how big or small it can get when you try and put it onto someone.

But also, gotta go for where Taiki is comfortable too!

"Inigo- have you got a blanket or anything in yours?"

It expanded that much? Taiki peered at the band in Tidus' hand and thought for a moment.

"Either's fine... It might be less likely to fall off my neck."

Perhaps. Though if it was that flexible it might have a better chance than other things at not falling off when he transformed.

"Sure do."

And as usually with Inigo, he just goes along with it, even though he still stupidly isn't too sure why Tidus needs a blanket. But he's pretty sure it's for Taiki's benefit, at least, so Inigo doesn't hesitate to pull the one he got from Irivar out of his own band that he's wearing as a ring.

"This one should do, right?" No idea for what, but. Still. He's here holding it! Take it if you want!

Neck it is! Even if that might be funny, and hold that blanket bro while Tidus puts the band to Taiki's snout. Giving him a "sorry, never done this to a kirin before," with a tickling humour to his voice as, with a light push, the arms band begins to expand - enlarging around Taiki's mouth to over the rest of him, over his long mane of hair.

... which, there's nowhere really to move aside his kirin hair, is there? But while the hair is caught under it, Tidus makes sure it isn't pulling on it, sitting it in place once he thinks he's found the best spot.

"Like this?" Hmm. "Let's mess with it some more once you change back, start from your human form." That might work better, right? Tidus will turn around now and take the blanket, a quick 'thanks' as he holds it in both hands, and then aims to swing it over Taiki's back. Pinch the corners together at the front.

"You okay with changing here?" A light laugh. "I'll get you a dressing screen or something to put in my own arms!"

Taiki huffed a small laugh and helped as much as he could, turning his head in the best angle to stop his horn from catching on the band. He stood still letting Tidus adjust it, it isn't too uncomfortable.

He's glad for the blanket as well and looks over at Inigo. "Thank you Inigo, Tidus. Both of you..."

When the weight of the blanket hits his back he shifts, changing back to his human form, buried under the blanket. He sits up, making sure to wrap the blanket around him.

The arms band makes a clanging sound as it bounces off the gym floor. "Sorry... I guess it fell off..." He reached down to retrieve it and hold it out of the blanket.

Wow. Inigo knew the band could shrink or grow depending on how big or small you needed it to be, but he didn't quite expect it to be able to expand to that size. He looks on, a little amazed, but leaving it to Tidus to actually put the thing on Taiki, since he seems to be doing well enough so far.

In fact, it gives Inigo enough confidence that this will go well. If it can go that big, surely it can just shrink back alongside Taiki when he goes back to a human fo--

.. oh.

Or maybe not. And this is also the point where Inigo seems to realise what the blanket was for in the first place, making his cheeks grow pretty pink. Don't think too much about that, Inigo.

"Ah--" Quick, speak up, just focus on what they were trying to do! "How come it falls off you anyway? I thought it was going to shrink for sure." Not like Inigo has ever changed forms - how could he! - while wearing his own, but he always figured it'd just work that way.

But he doesn't want Taiki to feel bad about it, so he quickly speaks on. "Maybe it works better the other way around? When you put it on while looking human first?"

Tidus takes the band, a frown on his face, a 'bah' muttered under his breath. But he's going over to where Taiki's clothes are to pick them up for the guy when Inigo asks his question. That is an idea but...

"It's still going to fall off though, if Taiki goes from kirin to human again," he points out, disappointed. "Unless we just stuck the band around a string? But-"

While that might be a thought, he looks between Inigo and Taiki, while putting himself in a spot where his back is facing the corridor of the carriage.

"We should just give it to Saku, right? Taiki's always going to be where Saku is." A beat, and then he gestures Inigo over to him. "Inigo, stand here? Unless you wanna change back, Taiki. We can make a screen for you, in case anyone comes in!"

It's your human meatshields, Taiki!

"I don't know... I think it is how the change happens..."

He's not really sure about that, he knows very little of how it happens. He's not sure anyone does. After all Keiki had never really been able to explain the change to him, it was instinctive and just something kirin could do.

"That might be best, if Lord Gyousou carries it."

He smiles as he takes the clothes and begins getting dressed under the blankets, it's a bit clumsy, he probably should practice this, but he's greatful for them watching the door.

Tidus doesn't have to ask twice. At that gesture Inigo is already walking over to him, although he only understands halfway through the steps why exactly Tidus wanted him to come over in the first place. (Yes, he's just that obedient by now, even without knowing the reason.)

But being a human meat/shame shield is something he can do very well. Nothing will get past them!

"Hmm. Maybe if Taiki figures out more about how it works later on," as in, the whole kirin transformation, "then he can put it on himself. But giving it to lord Gyousou should work just as well in the meantime." He nods. "Not to mention that they could both use it then. I bet he'd find it helpful to be able to store things like that as well."

"Alright then! Taiki, you got enough points to get one? We could give you back one of the ones you got for the stock if you don't. I bet no one would mind if you took stuff to help out too-- maybe some of the food? That wouldn't be bad between you and Saku."

Plus, Tidus thinking that someone else should be managing the medical supplies than coming near Taiki for them. Food's a lot safer for Taiki.

"Or even spare clothing. I wonder if that's a worry? Well, no harm in overpacking when there's no end to the room. You just gotta remember what you got!"

"I have enough points." He told them softly with a smile, "I can get one and we can carry whatever you need us to."

He's finished getting dressed now and he begins folding the blanket nearly so that he can give it back to Inigo.

"Spare clothing would probably be useful, keeping dry and warm is important."

The last mission, on that mountain, it had been very very cold.

Inigo laughs.

"Don't listen too much to Tidus, that guy has enough snacks in there to feed the population of an entire world." Okay, he actually thinks Tidus is giving good advice here. But can you blame him for using the moment to poke a bit of fun at the other guy? Especially when Inigo really can't hang out with Tidus without the guy pulling food out of there at some point or another.. It sure makes Inigo wonder what it looks like on the inside by now.

Wow, rude, Inigo?! Tidus puts his hands on his sides, frowning!

"I'm talking about missions, food for everyone! The lunchboxes we make!" But then a thought comes to him, in his moment of complete dumbery as he looks to Taiki with a complicated brow:

"Can you be near food with cooked meat in it? Does it make you sick? We usually stick them together in suitcases so you can take out a bunch at once, but..."

Would that still get to Taiki? Is he being too cautious here? Look, Taiki's health is important.

Taiki laughs a little bit, he doesn't blame Tidus for having food in the arm band all the time, it would be more convenient than going to the kitchen whenever he was hungry.

"Cooked meat is usually alright... to be near, I mean. Raw meat I can still smell the blood in so it makes me sick."

Inigo laughs a little at Tidus's expected protest. Though he doesn't seem to think what comes after - the caution - is unwarranted, since Inigo himself grows more serious for a moment too, glancing between the other two.

"Usually.. does that mean there are times when it hasn't been?"

Which isn't really Inigo angling to get all details about it. That's not important. It's more about making sure it absolutely wouldn't bother Taiki, because the last thing they need is Taiki growing weak or ill because of the content of his Arms Band.

"Sounds like Taiki's got a radar for how well done meat is." It's a little dry, even though it's partially a joke. At a same time- "Doesn't sound good for the rest of us. But then, how many people know how to cook here? The food's not always... well."

He huffs that 'well', looks at Inigo--you know what I mean, right bro?? Tidus isn't a food snob, but not everyone should be in a kitchen just because it's their chore!

"But maybe it's to do with the 'meaty' smell? That's stronger with some foods than others."

He smiles slightly at Tidus though he can't say if it is true or not, he makes his own food for the most part so he's not sure what other peoples cooking is like on a whole.

"I guess... It's to do with the smell of blood. So I guess... How much it has been cooked." He shook his head, "It's alright though, it won't make me really sick. It's more like a... restlessness, something I am aware of. I can carry whichever supplies you wish."

It should be fine inside the arms band.

Inigo gives Tidus a Look that indicates that yes, bro, he's very much on the same wavelength as you here. And while Inigo may not be amazing at cooking, he's at least decent enough with meat that he feels like he's allowed to judge others when it comes to that, at least.

Though his agreement with Tidus quickly loses priority the moment Taiki starts talking. Oh, nope. Nope, nope, nope. He's sure Tidus will agree with him on this one.

"Hey, there are plenty of people who can carry stuff! You don't have to be uncomfortable when there's other options." Even if it's restlessness, that still can't be good if he's constantly around it. "If anything, we can see if we can't have some meals that don't involve meat to put in there. Surely you aren't the only one around here who doesn't eat it."

As weird as that concept still is to Inigo, who's very much a meat eater and practically had to be to survive for years.. but at least it's easier to understand it with Taiki, considering his condition.

Tidus is in agreement with Inigo here, and even nods, following after him. "We had vegetarian meals-- still have them 'cause I got to asking Uta about all the difference what he could make when we started. So not everything that needs carrying is meat. But."

But. "--It's up to you, Taiki. To be honest," he waves a hand, sighing, "I don't know how any of the teams decide who's carrying what. I know Minako was carrying for Blue, but I just took some food with me anyway in Irivar... I might ask Piccolo if he can make some more lunchboxes, and I give you guys your own supplies. It's easier way of doing it. Then you can cover whoever you need to."

It's still so soon after the mission anyway, and Tidus doesn't want to think about it that deeply. Ugh. Plus, in the end-

"Main thing is, as long as you have everything you need for you and Saku, that's all you need to think about right now."

"Okay. Well I can carry food, or anything really and if Lord Gyousou will be carrying it it probably doesn't matter, about the meat I mean."

He had never been able to smell blood or even felt uncomfortable around Tidus or Inigo when they were wearing the arm bands, so he doubted it would be a problem.

"But... I guess we should get back, I disturbed you both when you were in the middle of something."

"Disturbed?"

Inigo sounds offended, but so dramatically to the point that no one could take it seriously. His mouth is open, gasping, hand on his chest, the whole deal.

And if that wasn't obvious enough, then the way he steps over to Taiki to hug the other says enough. He wraps his arms around him, briefly squeezes him, and then smiles as he lets go.

"You're just about the one person who could never disturb us, no matter what we're doing! You know you're always welcome with us, right?"

"Yeah! Plus, we called you down!" And he's about to continue along the same lines as Inigo, that there's always room for Taiki in whatever they're doing, until the words catch in his throat.

"--Wait! We didn't even give you any of your presents! Inigo! You got the bracelets?"

But straight after that Tidus is distracted, closing his eyes and with a squeeze and- poof! Folded blankets appear with a dusting of gold, out from his arms band. Different varieties, and Tidus picks up one, looking from Taiki and the blankets.

"You can pick one for you and Saku! Whichever ones you like!"

Taiki looked down, he knew that but it was still hard to believe. He so often felt like he was in the way, annoying the two of them. After all they were both more energetic than him and he feared he slowed them down.

He was even more overwhelmed when Tidus made the blanket appear. "Oh!" He gasped, "They are beautiful." Had they gotten them from Irrivar? He looked through them, they were as soft as they were beautiful.

He took a moment, trying to decide which one he thought Lord Gyousou would prefer.

"Oh, right--"

At least that gives Taiki a bit more space to pick a blanket, considering Inigo has to move away, thinking about where he left the bracelets. He thinks it's actually somewhere here in the pile of stuff they brought along for specific people..

So don't mind him for a second as he noses through that to look for the bracelets they got for those two!

Though he can't help but cast a slightly amused glance back at the other two while he's at it.

"Having a hard time picking?" It's just cute! Taiki does everything he does for Gyousou with so much care.

Tidus smiles happily, thinking to give Taiki all room to browse at his own leisure; but also, he wants to help, lowers to move out the blankets so they're not stacked and Taiki can go through them better.

"Nice, huh? We couldn't get them for everyone, but we wanted to treat our friends." A laugh as he admits, "We went wild spending everything we had left."

That was just the kind of mood they were in that day, trying to ignore the train and everything else.

"We wanted to get you some new shoes too, but buying shoes for someone when they aren't around's no good! Next planet we end up with shops," he says looking at Taiki, "we're taking you with us!"
