Who: Kitty and Open
Where: Medical carriage

What: Kitty takes a few days to recover after the most recent happening on the train
Warnings: Probably nothing, but will update if anything comes up

Kitty wasn't sure when it happened exactly - between seeing Professor Xavier and the others out in the void, all the ghosts of people on the train, and some additional distress crashing over her that wasn't even really hers, there had been a lot going on. In a bit of a panic, she retreated by herself, and the next thing she knew she was being awoken by Inigio, who had to help her to the medical carriage because she'd been barely able to move.

Which is where she would spend the next few days recovering, her body still feeling rather weak no matter how much sleep she'd get. She does regain her strength eventually, though having some visitors come see her would probably help too.

It had been a strange time for Allen, but after it he had never really felt as good as he had this time. As much as it had been painful it seemed like this incident had been good for him in the long run.

So when he came to see his friend, his body language was different than usual, a little bit more open.

"I heard that you were here and I wanted to check on you."

Glancing up from her book, Kitty offered a smile.

"Thanks," she said, genuinely touched. "I'm doing all right. I'm glad to see you're okay too."

She hadn't seen much of him since their talk in the music carriage, so she was glad to see him.

"That's good to hear." He was more glad she was okay than him being okay really... but that is kind of what Allen is like in general.

"Of course I would be...I mean...as odd as this situation was... it was a good thing for me. Not so surree for other people though."

She glanced up at him curiously. "Really? Good how?"

Then, thinking better of it, she added, "I mean...you don't have to tell me, if you don't want to."

"Good as in I had a moment, but it was something that was needed...if that makes sense."

He knew that sometimes he might not necessarily make all that much sense. "It was a reminder that yes I miss people I once knew but at the same time... that I like to think they are okay."

She managed a small smile. "Yeah. It is nice to think they'd be all right."

[mynameisallen]

He nodded slightly. "But I think a lot of people were affected by it and that I can get. It affected me when I was reminded of how much I actually missed them."

She nodded. "Yeah. It might have affected a lot of people a bit differently."

[mynameisallen]

"It all depends on the person and what others did as a distraction since I know some people did that." Allen himself ate a bit after his time as well as the gym and his attempt to maybe play some games.

It worked at least.

"But it's over and done with no9w. Next will be the mission."

"Right," she said, thinking about the pattern of events on the train. "After the next platform stop."

Hopefully she'll be back up to full health by then.

He nodded slightly. That was usually how the pattern went.

"Hopefully we all will be 100% by the time that comes up. Makes me wonder where we might go next. Each world has always been different after all."

"Yeah. Hopefully it won't be too difficult, especially if a lot of us are still recovering from this."

Even if people were all right physically, she had a feeling that this had shaken quite a few of the other passengers.

"I get the feeling it will be, unfortunately. I mean at least for Red either way." From what he knows he wouldn't be surprised if they have to have at least one major fight.

"But we just have to try our best and those that aren't 100% at least have the option to stay on the train."

She nods, because she really wouldn't be surprised by that either. "Yeah...I guess all we can do is hope for the best until we know exactly what we have to do."

He nodded slightly. "Though that won't be until mission day. So we can hope until then." Either way Allen knew he would be helping out regardless. After all they had enough time in between, though he knew some might take longer than others.

"Yeah, that's true." She would just have to rest up until then, so hopefully she'll be ready for whatever needs to be done.

"So aside from what happened the other day, what have you been up to?"

She needed something to focus on, so she didn't fall back asleep.

"Honestly, not a lot. Mostly chores." His life is very exciting on the train.

"Other things being training and maybe trying to find something different to do."

She tilted her head a little. "Something different? Like what?"

[mynameisallen]

"I don't know yet. Just something I wouldn't normally do myself. Which considering what I usually do, there is plenty of options." At best he simply does training most of the time and just relaxes in his room pretty much. At least he has tried out games now so that was different but he knew he should at least try more.

She nods. "I see. What kind of things have you tried? I mean, if you don't mind me asking."

[mynameisallen]

"At the moment...I've tried a couple of games. Some have been hits or misses and a couple movies... That's about it, nothing overly exciting." At least in his mind it wasn't that exciting anyway.

"It's still something, at least." She tilts her head a little. "Do you like listening to music?"

[mynameisallen]

"I do. I mean I never did listen to much until the last world I was on, but I came to appreciate it then." He most used it while working out for the most part.
