Who: Everyone's Invited!
Where: Various decorated carriages!
When: Horseshoe 31.
What: Della is hosting a Halloween party! Come for treats, tricks, and trouble!
Warnings: N/A, will update it needed.

The room is dark…why aren’t the lights on? But as the doors fully open, a voice begins laughing darkly…

… although if you’ve ever heard the voice of Della Duck, you’ll recognize her immediately.

“Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?”

Suddenly there’s a big THUD as someone drops from the ceiling, the lights flash on, and Della herself, dressed as a zombie – ripped apart clothes, fake blood here and there, drawn on scars - wiggles her fingers before laughing joyfully. “Happy Halloween, everybody! Let’s party!”

Tasty Treats

A big buffet table of candy and punch has been laid out! Mini chocolate bars and multi-colored lollipops, gummy worms and candy corn, all sorts of sweet and sour shenanigans, ghost-shaped cookies and mummy-looking muffins! There’s plenty to eat, with absolutely no healthy alternatives.

There are also small wrapped bags of candy with the letters “T.o.T” written on them. If someone tells you, “Trick or Treat!” you have to share your candy! Or keep it to yourself, you monster.

Haunted House

Thanks to Seto Kaiba’s projections, a neighboring carriage has been converted into a Haunted House! While it’s all a trick on the eyes, it gives the illusion that there are several floors of spookiness. Each floor has a different theme –

#1 Serial Seriousness – Every so often, a masked intruder pops out at you, with long claws or chainsaw, ready to give chase! Be careful, or you’ll be the next victim!

#2 Zombie Zaniness – Moans and groans of the undead can’t be unheard. Rotting arms will try to swipe at you through the floorboards!

#3 Ghostly Games – You can see through them, and they can see you too! Each mirror reflects a different dastardly demon!

#4 Deadly Doctors – In this hospital, it’s not the awful health insurance that’ll kill you! Beware the bloody nurses and their extra big needles!\

#5 Fishy Fears - … Wait, what? … Okay, this last floor was clearly designed by Della. It’s like Under the Sea, but with sharks and octopi and kraken - and Della insists this is the worst floor.

Feel free to have your characters braving the house, or trying to scare people within!

Dance Floor

If being haunted isn’t your thing, nothing wrong with getting your groove on! Ask DJ Della what kind of song you’d like to play, and she’s happy to put on the list, from a classic Monster Mash to something more somber and soulful for you slow-dancing-romantic-vampire-types.

Turnip Carving
… Look, they didn’t have pumpkins. Anyway, you’re encouraged to carve scary and silly faces in these veggies! There is a contest, but everyone will be a winner, from “Most Realistic” to “Most Depressing” !

Movie Mania
Kick back and relax – and be horrified – at the otherworldly horror films! Like the horrific monster mime, “That”, the relentless umpire-mask wearing killer, “Monday the 20th”, and the endless array of the undead, “Midmorning Of The Not Wholly Alive”!

Some of you awful people might be thinking of popping up and scaring the theater-goers and this is /winkwinknudgenudge/ totally not approved. /plausible deniability/

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
In one secluded, quiet, and verrry dark carriage, lit only by candles, here you are encouraged to tell the scariest stories you can think of! What eerie legends will you share from your world, or do you dare to make it up as you go along?

I don't typically draw many things for fun unless I'm designing things which is fun to me.

Hmmm. I like building things. Designing things. Experimenting. Star gazing is fun to me, because I like space. I like to do research, although I haven't had the chance to do that in forever at home. Inventing things...all of that stuff is fun to me.

[ It sounds like a lot of work is what it sounds like. ]

[ Della nods along, interested. She's... not a fan of space, but she can focus on the other things! ]

Sounds like you love to keep your hands busy. I'd love to see any inventions you made! ... And unlike a certain jerk back home, I bet yours don't turn out evil all the time.

I can honestly say I haven't managed to invent anything evil yet.

[ He hums a little bit. ]

By far my most successful invention is the revival fluid that breaks people free from the petrification. Most of the things I've been making at home have been done before, but not in the future because the technology hasn't been there. Someday I'll get back to inventing more original things, probably, once the infrastructure is there, but I'm particularly proud of our ship. It was probably the most complex thing I've managed to design and have executed and it was incredibly successful. At least, we didn't sink on our maiden voyage.

Here though, mostly I've been cooking things, I'm lacking some supplies, but I did make myself a few tools. They're not complex, but they get the job done.

Free from the what now?

[ Oh, you've got her extra curious. ]

[ Oh did he not mention that? He should pay attention to who he says these things to and who he doesn't. ]

A long time ago in my world, there was this beam of light, I'm still working on that, that turned every human and swallow to stone, like a statue. I was petrified for over 3700 years, and when I broke free, I was alone so the priority was to figure out how it is I broke free, why I was the only one, and how to revive some other humans. Taiju broke free six months after me, he's my best friend, because he wasn't thinking as much as I was. Your brain burns four hundred calories a day if you think non-stop for a twenty-four hour period...

[ He's off track. He pauses and refocuses. ] Right. Revival fluid. Anyway, most people aren't mentally awake, they are just in a cold sleep of some sort, so I had to compensate for that, and it took another six months to crack the formula, so now we know how to wake people up and have known for awhile, almost three years, but it's very complicated, you can't just go around waking people up for a few reasons.

... Uh. Wow. Reminder to... never complain about anything, ever?

[ She's all for the unknown and adventure, but... even that seems like a bit much. She's tempted to hug him, but from past experience can guess that's a no-no. ]

[ He chuckles and shrugs. ]

Why not? Complaining is part of being alive. The Mentalist complains constantly.

[ He doesn't do that too much, but other people do. ]

It's challenging, sure, but I like challenges.

[ Distracted again! ]

Asagiri Gen. You can't miss him, he has black and white hair, believes in, ugh, astrology of all things and he's doing fake fortune telling by the haunted carraige.

Oh, him! I didn't know you guys had cute nicknames for each other. What's yours?

It's cute? [ He looks sceptical about that. ]

I don't know, he calls me Senku-chan, or dearest, or dear. You've met him, he calls everyone dear.

Huh, didn't know he did that for everyone. That's sweet!

I think he only calls me dearest though. [ He's not slightly blushing, that's a trick of the lighting! ]

Hmmm, let me think of a good one here.

[ She definitely gives of a motherly vibe, or what he imagines that would be like, and he's not Gen, duck puns aren't very sufficient, but there are animals that are overprotective of their families... When in doubt, it was best to lean on his dorky mythological knowledge. ]

How about...Airavata?

Oooh... it sounds so lovely and exotic!

... I have no idea what it means.

[ But when she does... brace yourself, man. ]

Airavata is a mythological figure in my world, a white elephant, creator of clouds and incredibly protective. They say he guards one of the higher Hindu gods and protects one of the eight points on a compass. The thing is about elephants, is that they are overly protective of their family.

[ That's the impression that Della made, in his mind, that she would do anything for her family and he didn't even know her that well. ]

I...know a lot of myths. [ It's an incredibly dorky reference. ]

[ She knows he's not good with physical affection. He made that pretty clear last time.

[ BIG HUG TIME. BIG SQUEEZE. ]

[ He has the grace to look a bit embarrassed, and he will tolerate a hug from Della, but like everyone else, he's not one to reciprocate them. She'll at least let to give him one, which is a courtesy he doesn't afford most people. ]

Ah, uh, I'm glad I guess?

[ He's not sure what to say to someone who's really happy about something like this. ]

I use a lot of nicknames for people anyway.

[ Super big squeeze, before she mercifully lets him go. ]

[ He complained a little, and he used her nickname. It was a win/win. His body language said he was more shyly embarrassed than truly annoyed, with a light blush on his cheeks. ]

[ He responds with a little shrug, he's not terribly bothered by what she wants to call him, he'll answer to whatever she settles on. ]

Man. [ In a bit more of a complaining tone here, like he's a lot closer to 19 than some unimaginable number ] Don't be embarrassing like my dad.

[ He's ordered something super embarrassing, heaven forbid Della ever find out there will be toddler pictures. ]
