Who: Everyone's Invited!
Where: Various decorated carriages!
When: Horseshoe 31.
What: Della is hosting a Halloween party! Come for treats, tricks, and trouble!
Warnings: N/A, will update it needed.

The room is dark…why aren’t the lights on? But as the doors fully open, a voice begins laughing darkly…

… although if you’ve ever heard the voice of Della Duck, you’ll recognize her immediately.

“Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?”

Suddenly there’s a big THUD as someone drops from the ceiling, the lights flash on, and Della herself, dressed as a zombie – ripped apart clothes, fake blood here and there, drawn on scars - wiggles her fingers before laughing joyfully. “Happy Halloween, everybody! Let’s party!”

Tasty Treats

A big buffet table of candy and punch has been laid out! Mini chocolate bars and multi-colored lollipops, gummy worms and candy corn, all sorts of sweet and sour shenanigans, ghost-shaped cookies and mummy-looking muffins! There’s plenty to eat, with absolutely no healthy alternatives.

There are also small wrapped bags of candy with the letters “T.o.T” written on them. If someone tells you, “Trick or Treat!” you have to share your candy! Or keep it to yourself, you monster.

Haunted House

Thanks to Seto Kaiba’s projections, a neighboring carriage has been converted into a Haunted House! While it’s all a trick on the eyes, it gives the illusion that there are several floors of spookiness. Each floor has a different theme –

#1 Serial Seriousness – Every so often, a masked intruder pops out at you, with long claws or chainsaw, ready to give chase! Be careful, or you’ll be the next victim!

#2 Zombie Zaniness – Moans and groans of the undead can’t be unheard. Rotting arms will try to swipe at you through the floorboards!

#3 Ghostly Games – You can see through them, and they can see you too! Each mirror reflects a different dastardly demon!

#4 Deadly Doctors – In this hospital, it’s not the awful health insurance that’ll kill you! Beware the bloody nurses and their extra big needles!\

#5 Fishy Fears - … Wait, what? … Okay, this last floor was clearly designed by Della. It’s like Under the Sea, but with sharks and octopi and kraken - and Della insists this is the worst floor.

Feel free to have your characters braving the house, or trying to scare people within!

Dance Floor

If being haunted isn’t your thing, nothing wrong with getting your groove on! Ask DJ Della what kind of song you’d like to play, and she’s happy to put on the list, from a classic Monster Mash to something more somber and soulful for you slow-dancing-romantic-vampire-types.

Turnip Carving
… Look, they didn’t have pumpkins. Anyway, you’re encouraged to carve scary and silly faces in these veggies! There is a contest, but everyone will be a winner, from “Most Realistic” to “Most Depressing” !

Movie Mania
Kick back and relax – and be horrified – at the otherworldly horror films! Like the horrific monster mime, “That”, the relentless umpire-mask wearing killer, “Monday the 20th”, and the endless array of the undead, “Midmorning Of The Not Wholly Alive”!

Some of you awful people might be thinking of popping up and scaring the theater-goers and this is /winkwinknudgenudge/ totally not approved. /plausible deniability/

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
In one secluded, quiet, and verrry dark carriage, lit only by candles, here you are encouraged to tell the scariest stories you can think of! What eerie legends will you share from your world, or do you dare to make it up as you go along?

Make your own top-level, and happy haunting!

Also, if your character would like to dress up, costumes are available for this night only!

"The card shattered?" Della repeated, startled, and amazed. "Wow! Talk about a major plot twist! I didn't even know those things could break!"

She nodded. "Shatter is a Culdcept card also. I'm not sure how long it takes a shattered card to be restored though. I know according to official rules you're not allowed to use a shattered card again in the same combat, but... Zeneth." She shrugged.

She sighed. "Well he wasn't exactly happy that his big destructive spell wasn't going to be of use. So he kind of found one that had a more narrow area of attack but... was almost as bad. Evil Blast."

Were there such things as Good Blasts? But maybe this wasn't the right time to ask. Focus on the now.

"How big was that bang?"

"Huge," she admitted. "I... might have tried to get my shield back, but it was too late. But then a voice called out to me, asking me to free it. It was the card I got from Chimeno after our battle. So I summoned it..." A card flew to her hand from the pouch behind her back and she held it up. The image that would give some hint as to what the card would summon was facing Najaran, leaving it a mystery. For the moment.

Della was already starving for answers about this cliffhanger. "What was it? What came out? Tell meeee!"

She flung the card into the air, posing dramatically as she did. The card burst open to reveal Cait Sith.

"Me-ow!" he said bowing deeply.

Della gasped... and then squeed. "Dawww! What a widdle cutie! Look at those squishy cheeks!"

Cait Sith made his way over and sat beside Della for the petting that was his due. Even if she was a bit gushy about it.

"Cait Sith gobbled up the spell, but he couldn't keep it down. So I spun him around and he blasted the spell right back at Zeneth. Well. Sort of. I kind of aimed up a bit. I mean, he was clearly a jerk, but probably not one of the Black Cepters. You know?"

Good boy is getting all the pettings and scritches.

"So... it was like, super magic vomit! Way to go, Sith!"

Najaran gave a weak grin. "Anyway, he was spent, I was spent. Rather that accept a draw, he swore to get me some day and left. So I kind of became the winner of the tournament. Which... was kind of when things got bad."

Della blinked, a little thrown off. "Wait... after all that, it actually got worse?"

"Yeah.... So, I won the tournament and that wasn't so bad. The Inn threw a big party with lots of yummy foods, but before i could eat much someone showed up and told me that the lord of Soron wanted to invite me to a feast. Apparently that was something he did after every tournament for the winner. So he wanted me for dinner..." she made a face. "sent a carriage and everything, I'd never seen anything so fancy." All the words seemed like happy enough things, but her voice sounded like someone describing her escort to the guillotine...

Della gave this some thought. "... Was it some sort of 'exact words' trick where he wanted to eat you?"

She nodded, shuddering. "And that wasn't even the worst of it..."

"How was that not the worst?!"

She took a deep breath, trying to figure out how best to answer, and decided that the best way was to go back to telling things in order.

"So I didn't get to eat at the victory feast," yes she was still sore about that, "but I thought that I'd be eating at the feast the Lord Of Soron invited me to..."

"She even brought lunch boxes for leftovers," Goligan said dryly.

She tried to push on, ignoring that. We got to the dining room and there was a huge table and lots of people sitting there, and I got all excited as these huge platters were brought in with these silver done cover things... what are those called again?"

Della waved a hand, trying to urge Najaran to skip to the good(?) part faster. "Yeah yeah whatever, those things, what actually happened!"

"Getting there. See when the lid thing was lifted... there was a giant steaming... um.... Let's just say that flies like to eat it a whole lot more than anyone or anything else would..." She made a disgusted face, just thinking about it.

... Wow, and Della thought she didn't have an actual limit to her own ick factor.

"Please tell me you're kidding."

"I wish I was," she mumbled, a little green thinking about it again. "And it got worse...."

"I'm starting to think I should've listened to Reno and gotten some booze for this party."

"Do you want me to stop?" Najaran wouldn't blame her if she did....

Della shook her head. "No! I'm gunna see this all the way through!"

"Well, if you are sure..."

"Lay it on me! Give me all you got! Don't hold back!"
