it's halloween, lo-ween, everybody!

Where: Various decorated carriages!
When: Horseshoe 31.
What: Della is hosting a Halloween party! Come for treats, tricks, and trouble!
Warnings: N/A, will update it needed.

The room is dark…why aren’t the lights on? But as the doors fully open, a voice begins laughing darkly…

… although if you’ve ever heard the voice of Della Duck, you’ll recognize her immediately.

“Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?”

Suddenly there’s a big THUD as someone drops from the ceiling, the lights flash on, and Della herself, dressed as a zombie – ripped apart clothes, fake blood here and there, drawn on scars - wiggles her fingers before laughing joyfully. “Happy Halloween, everybody! Let’s party!”

Tasty Treats

A big buffet table of candy and punch has been laid out! Mini chocolate bars and multi-colored lollipops, gummy worms and candy corn, all sorts of sweet and sour shenanigans, ghost-shaped cookies and mummy-looking muffins! There’s plenty to eat, with absolutely no healthy alternatives.

There are also small wrapped bags of candy with the letters “T.o.T” written on them. If someone tells you, “Trick or Treat!” you have to share your candy! Or keep it to yourself, you monster.

Haunted House

Thanks to Seto Kaiba’s projections, a neighboring carriage has been converted into a Haunted House! While it’s all a trick on the eyes, it gives the illusion that there are several floors of spookiness. Each floor has a different theme –

#1 Serial Seriousness – Every so often, a masked intruder pops out at you, with long claws or chainsaw, ready to give chase! Be careful, or you’ll be the next victim!

#2 Zombie Zaniness – Moans and groans of the undead can’t be unheard. Rotting arms will try to swipe at you through the floorboards!

#3 Ghostly Games – You can see through them, and they can see you too! Each mirror reflects a different dastardly demon!

#4 Deadly Doctors – In this hospital, it’s not the awful health insurance that’ll kill you! Beware the bloody nurses and their extra big needles!\

#5 Fishy Fears - … Wait, what? … Okay, this last floor was clearly designed by Della. It’s like Under the Sea, but with sharks and octopi and kraken - and Della insists this is the worst floor.

Feel free to have your characters braving the house, or trying to scare people within!

Dance Floor

If being haunted isn’t your thing, nothing wrong with getting your groove on! Ask DJ Della what kind of song you’d like to play, and she’s happy to put on the list, from a classic Monster Mash to something more somber and soulful for you slow-dancing-romantic-vampire-types.

Turnip Carving
… Look, they didn’t have pumpkins. Anyway, you’re encouraged to carve scary and silly faces in these veggies! There is a contest, but everyone will be a winner, from “Most Realistic” to “Most Depressing” !

Movie Mania
Kick back and relax – and be horrified – at the otherworldly horror films! Like the horrific monster mime, “That”, the relentless umpire-mask wearing killer, “Monday the 20th”, and the endless array of the undead, “Midmorning Of The Not Wholly Alive”!

Some of you awful people might be thinking of popping up and scaring the theater-goers and this is /winkwinknudgenudge/ totally not approved. /plausible deniability/

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
In one secluded, quiet, and verrry dark carriage, lit only by candles, here you are encouraged to tell the scariest stories you can think of! What eerie legends will you share from your world, or do you dare to make it up as you go along?

Make your own top-level, and happy haunting!

Also, if your character would like to dress up, costumes are available for this night only!

Were you here during that time when people saw others memories? or did you arrive after that?

[Because sometimes it was hard to tell since some people just adapt so well she thinks they have been here much longer.]

Though... not sure how to describe it but the memory I got seemed to be a mission in space of some kind... Might need a moment to recall everything.

Yeah, the whole thing was just pretty strange in general really.

[She paused for a moment, how to even start with that memory.]

Basically when I got a memory it was a space battle going on. The train was there as well as those who were on it. The battle between like robots and jets to as well as there being a train station for the voidtrecker express. Are you following so far?

More or less? There were people here, fighting against robots, jets flying around, while the train was at a station. Did it look like the stations that this thing has been picking people up from?

I don't know. I just know it seemed to be maybe the home of the train...but I don't think that it's where we get picked up from because we come back to it later and there was only debris left.

[And yes, he can imply that the people who were out there probably died too...]

So there was no people or anything, it was like the aftermath, but no survivors minus those that had still been on the train.

So it certainly has nothing to return to ... well, if we think of the train like a person.

All those people dying in that fight ...

[ It sounded horrific, and traumatizing. ]

[ And still didn't really excuse all of these people being kidnapped, being so ill prepared in the void, being left to fend for themselves, having to scrounge together points without a real way to know how to earn them, for medical supplies and the like. ]

[ But Minako appeared to be sympathetic to the train, and so he kept his expression like that too. And really, it's not as if he didn't think that was a terrible thing to happen. ]

[ Traumatic events just weren't a pass on treating other people badly. ]

It indeed sounds like a nightmare.

Yeah... I mean... Don't get me wrong I still get annoyed at the train because you know... I'm pretty much alone without my friends and I would love to go back to them. But... we get some understanding of the train and it just makes me wonder if we get to know and understand if that will help in the long run.

[It was pretty much part of the reason she was being more symnperthetic.]

Plus the bigger threat is whatever caused that destruction in the first place.

I know exactly what you mean ... I've one of my friends, here, but I can't help but worry about the others. It's not as if I want them to be kidnapped too, but ... well, you know what I mean.

[ He winced. ]

I'm really not cut out for big, huge and violent threats. I mean. You're right, and hopefully people here can do something if we ever learn more, if they have a chance to help, but ...

[ A small sigh. ] ... I guess this is my way of helping? Silly little tricks and fortunes. The last week has been rough on people, my dear.

You are basically doing something only you can do to help. That's not a bad thing. We all have skill that isn't all about fighting. Sometimes we just have to cheer people up when they get back or when things are tough and that is just as important.

[Considering Minako was playing up the fact she couldn't do anything, she knew this was probably the right thing to say.]

it's why I try and do things the best I can. Since you know... not the fighting type even if I am in Blue Team

[ Gen wasn't hiding the persona of a beautiful soldier in a sailor suit, but he was hiding a bit his non-combat uses. Listening. Persuading. Information-gathering. Manipulating. ]

Fair! But sometimes, just an excuse for people to hang out and play a few games, be entertained, can be enough. Just putting a label of "party" on it can make it special enough for people to unwind.

I know how tempting it is to always outdo yourself, but then I remember - people are just happy to be entertained. Why not stick with an old favorite, if I can't come up with something new?
