it's halloween, lo-ween, everybody!

Who: Everyone's Invited!
Where: Various decorated carriages!
When: Horseshoe 31.
What: Della is hosting a Halloween party! Come for treats, tricks, and trouble!
Warnings: N/A, will update it needed.

The room is dark…why aren’t the lights on? But as the doors fully open, a voice begins laughing darkly…

… although if you’ve ever heard the voice of Della Duck, you’ll recognize her immediately.

“Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?”

Suddenly there’s a big THUD as someone drops from the ceiling, the lights flash on, and Della herself, dressed as a zombie – ripped apart clothes, fake blood here and there, drawn on scars - wiggles her fingers before laughing joyfully. “Happy Halloween, everybody! Let’s party!”

Tasty Treats

A big buffet table of candy and punch has been laid out! Mini chocolate bars and multi-colored lollipops, gummy worms and candy corn, all sorts of sweet and sour shenanigans, ghost-shaped cookies and mummy-looking muffins! There’s plenty to eat, with absolutely no healthy alternatives.

There are also small wrapped bags of candy with the letters “T.o.T” written on them. If someone tells you, “Trick or Treat!” you have to share your candy! Or keep it to yourself, you monster.

Haunted House

Thanks to Seto Kaiba’s projections, a neighboring carriage has been converted into a Haunted House! While it’s all a trick on the eyes, it gives the illusion that there are several floors of spookiness. Each floor has a different theme –

#1 Serial Seriousness – Every so often, a masked intruder pops out at you, with long claws or chainsaw, ready to give chase! Be careful, or you’ll be the next victim!

#2 Zombie Zaniness – Moans and groans of the undead can’t be unheard. Rotting arms will try to swipe at you through the floorboards!

#3 Ghostly Games – You can see through them, and they can see you too! Each mirror reflects a different dastardly demon!

#4 Deadly Doctors – In this hospital, it’s not the awful health insurance that’ll kill you! Beware the bloody nurses and their extra big needles!\

#5 Fishy Fears - … Wait, what? … Okay, this last floor was clearly designed by Della. It’s like Under the Sea, but with sharks and octopi and kraken - and Della insists this is the worst floor.

Feel free to have your characters braving the house, or trying to scare people within!

Dance Floor

If being haunted isn’t your thing, nothing wrong with getting your groove on! Ask DJ Della what kind of song you’d like to play, and she’s happy to put on the list, from a classic Monster Mash to something more somber and soulful for you slow-dancing-romantic-vampire-types.

Turnip Carving
… Look, they didn’t have pumpkins. Anyway, you’re encouraged to carve scary and silly faces in these veggies! There is a contest, but everyone will be a winner, from “Most Realistic” to “Most Depressing” !

Movie Mania
Kick back and relax – and be horrified – at the otherworldly horror films! Like the horrific monster mime, “That”, the relentless umpire-mask wearing killer, “Monday the 20th”, and the endless array of the undead, “Midmorning Of The Not Wholly Alive”!

Some of you awful people might be thinking of popping up and scaring the theater-goers and this is /winkwinknudgenudge/ totally not approved. /plausible deniability/

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
In one secluded, quiet, and verrry dark carriage, lit only by candles, here you are encouraged to tell the scariest stories you can think of! What eerie legends will you share from your world, or do you dare to make it up as you go along?

Make your own top-level, and happy haunting!

Also, if your character would like to dress up, costumes are available for this night only!

"I don't disagree with you, but the act of going to the temple usually involves prayers and things, rituals. That was the kind of thing my parents were against." Natsuno frowned.

"I couldn't go to a temple now, but it was nice the time I went."

"So...that type of thing is a religious thing?" She honestly doesn't get it at all really.

But she soon frowns slightly. She didn't get why he couldn't anymore, so she was just going to try and be positive about it.

"I'm sure that isn't true. if you wanted to it should be fine. Not like we ever go to one though."

He liked Rapunzel well enough that he didn't want her to up and leave on him, so he just shrugged it off. "Then I suppose it's a moot point."

It was complicated, why he couldn't just walk into holy places.

"But typically yes, prayers and communing with the gods is considered religious to most people I would think. There's just a lot of different religions to choose from."

"I see. I guess that is not something I need to focus on here, I suppose." She wasn't sure what religions people had here honestly, but they never seem to be anything that got brought up either.

"But hey, the movie is over what are your plans next?"

"Probably not, unless it's something you're interested in, then probably there's people that can teach you about what they believe." Natsuno mused thoughtfully.

"I think I'll watch another one. Interested?"

"I will be down for another, but do you think we should get snacks this time?" She remembered when people watch movies that were usually a thing.

"Yeah, actually..." Natsuno looked around the room and then got up.

"There's a popcorn machine. If we can figure that out, we can have popcorn."

"I know how it works. I got shown last time it was used actually. It was super fun~" Rapunzel seemed happy as she moved to get up, making her way over.

"I can show you how it works if you want."

"That would be helpful, thank you. I haven't ever used a machine like this." Natsuno answered, following her over to get a good look.

If he was honest, he hadn't used anything related to making food at all.

Rapunzel nodded showing him how exactly it was done. It seemed pretty simple to her after she had been first taught.

"See. It's not too bad. Now we have popcorn."

Natsuno actually smiled in response. "Looks good." He agreed with a nod.

"I'll pick something. I'll try and pick something that's not too gory." He said, going over to the screen that let them choose movies. This, at least, he'd already figured out how to use.

What about..an animated feature...about Supernatural Steve, a boy who happened to speak to ghosts.

"That sounds like it could be fun. But oh, do you want anything on the popcorn, I know people did last time this was used." It had ben so fun to try them all at the time., but she also knew it was best to figure out what people like first.

"I don't mind it plain." Natsuno responded and started the movie.

He made sure he had popcorn and he made his way back to where they were sitting.

"Let's see what this movie is like."

"Okay then. At least I can say I asked, right?" It's not that it was bad plain, she was just honestly surprised he actually wanted it plain when she had seen so many people always put something on it.

But she grabbed her and went back to where she was sitting previously.

"What did you pick this time?"

"Something labelled animated so it's probably geared for a younger audience and will probably be a lot less bloody if nothing else." Natsuno munched on his popcorn.

"Haven't seen it though."

"I don't think I've seen it either." she admitted as she sat down already tasking a couple pieces of her sweet popcorn and taking a bite happily. She was looking forward to the movie at least.

it killed an hour or two at least.
