it's halloween, lo-ween, everybody!

Who: Everyone's Invited!
Where: Various decorated carriages!
When: Horseshoe 31.
What: Della is hosting a Halloween party! Come for treats, tricks, and trouble!
Warnings: N/A, will update it needed.

The room is dark…why aren’t the lights on? But as the doors fully open, a voice begins laughing darkly…

… although if you’ve ever heard the voice of Della Duck, you’ll recognize her immediately.

“Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?”

Suddenly there’s a big THUD as someone drops from the ceiling, the lights flash on, and Della herself, dressed as a zombie – ripped apart clothes, fake blood here and there, drawn on scars - wiggles her fingers before laughing joyfully. “Happy Halloween, everybody! Let’s party!”

Tasty Treats

A big buffet table of candy and punch has been laid out! Mini chocolate bars and multi-colored lollipops, gummy worms and candy corn, all sorts of sweet and sour shenanigans, ghost-shaped cookies and mummy-looking muffins! There’s plenty to eat, with absolutely no healthy alternatives.

There are also small wrapped bags of candy with the letters “T.o.T” written on them. If someone tells you, “Trick or Treat!” you have to share your candy! Or keep it to yourself, you monster.

Haunted House

Thanks to Seto Kaiba’s projections, a neighboring carriage has been converted into a Haunted House! While it’s all a trick on the eyes, it gives the illusion that there are several floors of spookiness. Each floor has a different theme –

#1 Serial Seriousness – Every so often, a masked intruder pops out at you, with long claws or chainsaw, ready to give chase! Be careful, or you’ll be the next victim!

#2 Zombie Zaniness – Moans and groans of the undead can’t be unheard. Rotting arms will try to swipe at you through the floorboards!

#3 Ghostly Games – You can see through them, and they can see you too! Each mirror reflects a different dastardly demon!

#4 Deadly Doctors – In this hospital, it’s not the awful health insurance that’ll kill you! Beware the bloody nurses and their extra big needles!\

#5 Fishy Fears - … Wait, what? … Okay, this last floor was clearly designed by Della. It’s like Under the Sea, but with sharks and octopi and kraken - and Della insists this is the worst floor.

Feel free to have your characters braving the house, or trying to scare people within!

Dance Floor

If being haunted isn’t your thing, nothing wrong with getting your groove on! Ask DJ Della what kind of song you’d like to play, and she’s happy to put on the list, from a classic Monster Mash to something more somber and soulful for you slow-dancing-romantic-vampire-types.

Turnip Carving
… Look, they didn’t have pumpkins. Anyway, you’re encouraged to carve scary and silly faces in these veggies! There is a contest, but everyone will be a winner, from “Most Realistic” to “Most Depressing” !

Movie Mania
Kick back and relax – and be horrified – at the otherworldly horror films! Like the horrific monster mime, “That”, the relentless umpire-mask wearing killer, “Monday the 20th”, and the endless array of the undead, “Midmorning Of The Not Wholly Alive”!

Some of you awful people might be thinking of popping up and scaring the theater-goers and this is /winkwinknudgenudge/ totally not approved. /plausible deniability/

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
In one secluded, quiet, and verrry dark carriage, lit only by candles, here you are encouraged to tell the scariest stories you can think of! What eerie legends will you share from your world, or do you dare to make it up as you go along?

Make your own top-level, and happy haunting!

Also, if your character would like to dress up, costumes are available for this night only!

"Okay." She sighed again, dramatically. "You can be showing me."

THe gym isn't too far after all.

He headed to the gym car walking with trepidation as well as with her. This was going to be an unmitigated disaster, he just knew it. Up on two legs, in a frog suit, trying to jump rope. Well, at least he could blame the poofy costume when he fell flat on his face. He did wish Adrien was there. Then Adrien could demonstrate. Or at least get a laugh in at his expense when he fell flat on his face.

Hiding all of that behind a stupid smile, he glanced at her, scrambling for a... ah. That would do.

"So if I teach you, while we're here, does that count as training?"

"Yes. That do be being what training do be meaning." She rolled her eyes but they soon got to the gym carriage where she went up to the cupboard at the end. "Do you be thinking one will be being in here?"

She wrinkled her nose at the frog man.

"It was a pu... oh never mind. If one isn't here, you can order one and I'll show you after the next platform how it works."

He started looking around to see if there were jump ropes.

There didn't seem to be any ropes, jump ropes or otherwise, just many many balls. She sighed as she searched through them.

"I do no be seeing one."

Or he could do that. >.<

He sighed, going through them as well. And at one point where his body blocked her ability to see what he was digging through, he used Bending to create a jump rope. "Found one!" he said, turning around holding up a thick braided rope with wooden handles at approximately the right length. The colours were bright painful neon and the handles were plain wood. S'what happens when he tries to construct one from vague memories of multiple false realities where he was a human on Earth.

This... was going to be interesting.

"Oh." She turned and looked at it, wrinkling her nose. "Okay that do no be looking like a fishing net or a ship rope at all."

She raised an eyebrow at him. "Do you be knowing how to be doing this... skipping?"

So this was how he was going to die then? Makes sense it would be the stupidest way ever. survived wars and Storms and Papillon... to die breaking his face open jumping rope as a human in a frog suit for a little girl. He can't even say this was for family, because she wasn't. He sighed.

"Yeah," he lied, grinning. He knew the theory anyway and had memories of seeing people do it even though he knew the memories were Storm created. "Never tried it in a frog suit though." That much was true.

Yep. He was gonna die. He glanced up, wondering if the ceiling was even high enough in here for this...

"Frogs do be being great at jumping, so it will no even be being a problem."

Maybe. Then again, he is very stupid... She imagines if anyone could mess up jumping over a rope it would be him.

"True, it's in the legs, or so I am toad he said, a little weakly.

He took a deep breath, and started jumping. He made the first jump, somehow... And then shock over having done it messed him up and he tangled the rope in the eyes of the costume, and when he tried to pull it free, he pitched forward and face planted. "Ow....."

He twirled the rope over his head and jumped but then... She snorted with laughter before going up to him and crouching down.

"That did be pathetic. Did you be breaking your nose?"

He was probably fine.

"I don't nose if I did," he mumbled, not moving to get up.

She poked him with a toe. "Shall I be taking you to priestess Lightning?"

Or Wen Qing. Who would lecture them less?

"Who?" he asked, turning his head slightly.

"Do you know be knowing her?"

She wrinkled her nose. "She do be being a priestess. She can be healing you."

"I think I'll be fine," he said, rolling onto his back to stare at the ceiling. "But thanks."

"You will be being." If he could talk then he was breathing, he'd be fine. She poked him with her toe.

"I will be seeing you around."

And with that she turned and walked away from the weird riddle telling frog man.
