black butterfly, flutter me by;
Who: Otoha and anyone who wants to find him.
Where: All around the train!
When: Jelly, anywhere between day 3 - 5ish. (Please specify a particular date if it matters to you!)
What: Settling into train life is hard when you don’t know how to relax or... really function without direction.
Warnings: Interacting with Otoha is likely to involve talks of murder or general talk of him not being a person. Let me know if you need me to limit that! Also probably injuries in the second prompt.
[Training Gym]
Otoha has never missed a day of training in his life if he was able to get up and walk. As soon as he finds the training gym and it’s not a time when it’s occupied he makes his way in to take it over.
What follows is a bit of a mess as he drags things out to create an obstacle course. He positions dummies in strange clumps, around pads and behind larger blocks. He moves them around a bit until he’s satisfied and then starts springing between the dummies.
The sword he uses is long and sharp and probably not something the dummies were designed to withstand. After some damage, he swaps to just kicking and punching them, landing easily and setting them back up after every round.
[Kitchen]
Cooking can’t really be that hard, can it?
Maybe it can be, because Otoha is struggling with it. If it’s not the avocado being annoying to cut through - he’s not using his sword on this - it’s grabbing a pan from the oven without remembering to put on an oven mitt or rubbing his eyes from looking over a steaming pan.
At least he now has some bandages in his hoodie pocket.
[Greenhouse]
The greenhouse is probably not a place someone might expect to find a man like Otoha, but he’s still sitting there in the dirt, carefully making small holes in one of the plots and carefully trying to put the seeds in. … Is he supposed to do just one in each hole? How far apart are they supposed to be? He keeps having to get up and go over to the ICP and check things.
He knows about harvesting some of this, but planting it is another story.
[Wildcard]
Otoha’s a busy guy in some respects. He still wanders the train, looking out for both things he’s missed in the cars and also people he hasn’t seen before. He has to size up everyone, after all. You never know when someone’s going to be a threat.
Alternatively, you never know when someone’s going to drag you into something....

Training Gym - since we memed about it
Unfortunately, however, someone was already there. Prisoner watched for a little while and when the guy seemed to tire of hitting dummies, Prisoner waved to the man, then pointed to himself. He took a fighting stance to show his intent, then straightened and sort of shrugged to signify he was asking a question.

He turned around once he finished a set and watched the other guy. He wanted to fight?
“... Weapons or hand to hand? One finger for the first, two for the second.”
no subject
To illustrate he had a weapon Prisoner's right hand made a subtle motion and in his hand appeared a blue war spear. He leaned casually and rested the butt of it on the ground to support his weight. His head tilted as he waited for the man's response.
He gestured back to the man: you can choose, whatever you prefer.
no subject
That answered that. Otoha drew his sword, twirling it in his hand. “Any rules? I don’t think either of us are going to call it quits so we could fight until-“
Wait.
“Do you have blood?”

Prisoner dragged his thumb across where his neck would be if he had one, then gave a thumbs down. He drew the line at death. That wasn't quite it, but it was easy enough to convey. The truth is he drew the line at destroying the body he was in, but that was a wishy washy thing. He gave a shrug, then motioned again at Otoha. Whatever rules he wanted to set Prisoner would follow.

"I'm not going to kill you." Probably? There was never a guarantee. "... Hang on, I think this thing has a timer? Maybe? We could set a five minute or so timer and then go from there."
Since there was zero way that he was going to hold back - other than killing blows.
He glanced down and fiddled with his SCA for a minute, trying to find the stupid timer thing.

Prisoner waited patiently while Otoha fucked around with the thing. Probably anyone else would offer to help him find the little hourglass shape on the SCA that would give a countdown, but not Prisoner. He instead just stood and waited. He got a little sassy with it and eventually acted like he was checking the time on his own SCA as he grew more excited.
Whenever Otoha finally did figure out how to get the timer set Prisoner seemed to grow light with excitement as he finally stood up straight and actually wielded his spear, ready. He would allow Otoha to make the first move to start, but would very quickly dodge to the side once Otoha did move.
no subject
There it was. He set it and immediately rushed forward, taking a swipe to see how fast the guy moved.
Apparently the answer was 'fast enough', Otoha noting the speed and turning to block whatever the other guy was going to throw at him.
no subject
Rather than resetting the spear it momentarily disappeared from Prisoner's hands, then reappeared as he went for a second and third jab, his movements fast but controlled. He was curious if Otoha would keep up or not.
no subject
He turned again, watching for the movements and dodging left and right just outside of the range of the spear's strikes. This guy was faster than he'd thought - those were pretty quick jabs. He sliced up from underneath, trying to catch at Prisoner's hands - or at least to knock the spear up and out of the way so he could go in for another strike.
