Introducing Xion and Kairi- Standard Car, late Day 1

You know how you have one awesome friend, and they meet your other awesome friend, and together their awesomeness just increases exponentially? Yep, that was Lea's feeling as he led Xion to the standard car where Kairi was waiting. Though he wasn't sure how Xion would react, he still couldn't wait for them to finally meet each other.

Giving Demyx a gift and an explanation- Music Car, Day 2

Lea found Demyx in the music car, as was pretty much the norm since he'd arrived on the train. So much so that Lea had gone looking their first in stead of Demyx's room. He still needed to give him his gift from the faire, as well as an explanation for... Xion's attempt at an explanation. "Hey, Demyx," he said. "Got a minute?"

OTA-various cars and days

The rest of the month, when not otherwise busy, Lea applied himself to his chores and to general life on the train. He could often be found in the Kitchens, either cleaning or helping cook, though he also spent time various other cars. In the Library, he could either be found either reading, or at one of the tables, writing or doodling in his notebook. In the Greenhouse, he could sometimes be found tending to his and Taiki's little patch of plants; mostly herbs and a few tomato plants, they seemed to be coming along well, but he wouldn't object to some help or the advice of someone more experienced with plants. He could also be found sparring or practicing his Keyblade forms in the Training Gym, or for those less physically inclined, he was always up for a bit of fun in the Games Car And of course, he could occasionally be found just moving between cars, or relaxing in the Standard Car. If anyone wanted to find him, he generally wasn't too hard to spot with that hair of his.

She... still did not fully understand friends, other than that Axel and Roxas were her friends and then her best friends. But how did someone become friends? That was still an unknown. Axel had said she was his friend because she was Roxas' friend, not because of anything for herself. Not then. But now? And if she said yes... did that mean Kairi would join them for ice cream? Also was Taiki a friend? She still didn't know or understand...

Not sure what to say she opted for not saying anything as the safest option. As usual.

"I would like that very much." She knew that it was all up to Xion at the end of the day and she knew to not try and push it, so she figured she might as well mentioned that much at least.

"But if you prefer you don't want, I will at least understand."

Lea nodded in confirmation of what Kairi had said. "And you can ask any questions you have too," he assured Xion. "To me, or Kairi. That's part of what this introduction is for." Because he was sure from Xion's silence that there were questions she wasn't voicing for whatever reason.

There were always questions she wasn't voicing. Part of being Xion. She looked down at her gloves, not sure where to start with the questions she did have though. Did asking if they had to invite Kairi to ice cream mean that she would then want to go? Had Axel even mentioned ice cream to Kairi?

As she had been in Daitu, she was far less okay with the idea of others joining them for ice cream when all three of them weren't together. Some days ice cream was just one or two of them, sometimes all three. But not adding anyone else when they weren't all there was too much like replacing them. She didn't want Roxas to think they replaced him.

"What... would I have to do...?" she asked softly, finally. She knew what was expected of her being Axel and Roxas' friend. Ice cream, talking, having their back in battle. What was she supposed to do if she was Kairi's fiend? Would Roxas be upset if she was friends with someone connected to Sora while he was gong?

"What would you have to do?" Kairi paused at the question. In her mind there wasn't really a lot one would have to do really. This was after all probably more complicated than most friendships would normally be.

"Honestly. Not a lot, even if it's just hanging out in one of the carriages or having a talk. If there is something fun to do then doing that. I'm still figuring out what there is." So right now her list of options isn'[t exactly known yet.

"Yeah, honestly you wouldn't have to do much at all," Lea said. "Hanging out, talking, maybe a bit of training, that kind of thing. You might eventually find some things you want to do together though. That's part of being friends."

"I... don't talk a lot," she mumbled. And she was still trying to grasp the idea of training with things that she wasn't trying to actually destroy. It was just easier to practice on monsters and Heartless. And she still didn't fully understand fun or hanging out...

"Then I'm sure we could find plenty of things to do that don't involve a lot of talking. It will just take time." But she knew that once again that really meant that she needed to figure out everything that was on the train to even come up with ideas at least.

"Yeah," Lea agreed. "It's not something that you've got to jump into right away or anything. I more just wanted to introduce the two of you today so it'd be less weird when you got to know each other later."

"And besides, I'm guessing you'll need some time to settle in," he said to Kairi. "Getting kidnapped to a place like this is a pretty big change to get sued to, even when you're used to world-hopping."

"Alright," she said softly, mostly because she thought that was what Axel wanted her to say. She wasn't sure still what she was supposed to think about Kairi, or why Kairi didn't hate her. But... she could figure that out later, right?

"I will need some time. But I am also used to being kidnapped, so I at least have that going for me as well." Was that perhaps a playful jab. More than likely considering the smile.

"But that's all I can say on that matter. Just like us being able to get to know each other, it will take time."

"Alright," Lea said. "And... thanks. For giving this a chance. It means a lot having two of my friends from home here again."

"Anyway, we'll let you get back to settling in, Kairi. See you around, OK?"

They had had Roxas for a while. Now... they had Kairi. While she didn't scare Xion quite the same way that Saïx had, even when he was supposedly a real person again... she still wanted Roxas back. Would Axel spend less time with her, to spend more time with Kairi?

She said nothing, staying back, letting the others talk.

She nodded slightly. That was something that she had been meaning to do. Settling in a bit more. After all this had been quite a change from what she was use to, even if not being at home was somewhat normal to a certain extent.

"See you both around" she said with a smile and a wave before she went to head off. She didn't know what she was going to do next, but she was at least going to do soemthing.

Lea gave Kairi a wave as she left, then rested a reassuring hand on Xion's shoulder. No matter what else happened or who else turned up, she was still one of his best friends.

She stood close to him, watching Kairi leave.
