It's Peanut-butter Jelly time!
Who: Lea, Xion, Kairi, Demyx, and later anyone!
When: Anytime during Jelly aside from off-train things
Where: Various places
What: Catchall for Jelly (AKA January/February) plus a couple closed threads
Warnings: Shouldn't be any? Will update if need be.
Introducing Xion and Kairi- Standard Car, late Day 1
You know how you have one awesome friend, and they meet your other awesome friend, and together their awesomeness just increases exponentially? Yep, that was Lea's feeling as he led Xion to the standard car where Kairi was waiting. Though he wasn't sure how Xion would react, he still couldn't wait for them to finally meet each other.
Giving Demyx a gift and an explanation- Music Car, Day 2
Lea found Demyx in the music car, as was pretty much the norm since he'd arrived on the train. So much so that Lea had gone looking their first in stead of Demyx's room. He still needed to give him his gift from the faire, as well as an explanation for... Xion's attempt at an explanation. "Hey, Demyx," he said. "Got a minute?"
OTA-various cars and days
The rest of the month, when not otherwise busy, Lea applied himself to his chores and to general life on the train. He could often be found in the Kitchens, either cleaning or helping cook, though he also spent time various other cars. In the Library, he could either be found either reading, or at one of the tables, writing or doodling in his notebook. In the Greenhouse, he could sometimes be found tending to his and Taiki's little patch of plants; mostly herbs and a few tomato plants, they seemed to be coming along well, but he wouldn't object to some help or the advice of someone more experienced with plants. He could also be found sparring or practicing his Keyblade forms in the Training Gym, or for those less physically inclined, he was always up for a bit of fun in the Games Car And of course, he could occasionally be found just moving between cars, or relaxing in the Standard Car. If anyone wanted to find him, he generally wasn't too hard to spot with that hair of his.

He glanced up when Lea came in and he didn't stop playing initially, until he asked him if he had a minute.
"Yeah, sure." Demyx said, his fingers going still. He looked a bit hesitant, actually, after the conversation with Xion he wasn't sure what to expect. If they were messing with him it was going to be tiresome.

"You...you did?" He accepted the gift and looked it over. "Uh, thanks." He was surprised, if a bit awkward. He wasn't really expecting Lea to give him a gift.

"The other reason I wanted to talk to you is that Xion told me about what she tried to explain to you at the faire. And from the sound of it, I think I'd better explain her explanation. She's... really not the best at talking to anybody who's not me or Roxas, to put it mildly." There were one or two possible exceptions on the train, but sadly, Demyx wasn't one of them.
no subject
"Look..." He started, a little guarded. "If you're just messing with me some more, it's way out of line."
Coming after his heart was a little too cruel.
"She's the one that came after me, I didn't do anything. She wasn't making any sense."
no subject
"Anyway... remember when the train did its Q&A session? One of the questions Xion asked was whether she, Roxas, you, and a few others were considered real people, and the train's answer was yes. It was- to put it mildly- a big deal for her. I mean, I've been telling her she's a person for awhile now, but I'm her best friend; of course I'd say things like that. But the train doesn't have any reason to lie or sugar-coat things, so someone relatively impartial saying it finally managed to make the idea stick for her. I guess she just though that it would be just as big a deal for you to hear it was it was for her."
no subject
"That's good for her and all." Demyx said, leaning back a little. "And she could be a Somebody or whatever, I don't really know her. But I know I'm not. Sure, it might be big news if it were true, but it isn't." He glanced away, and he had no intention on dying, especially with his heart an untold number of miles away.
"Except she didn't really say that. She said I'm a person and when I asked her about it, she said to ask you and practically hid from me." Demyx sounded exhausted. Lea didn't know what had been going on for him in their neck of the woods, but he'd already reached the point of fed up with everything, long before getting on the train. "I didn't do anything to her and she wouldn't answer my questions. She just told me to find you."

greenhouse
Tidus isn't one to linger around in the greenhouse car for long, but he still needs to pass through it at times like any other passenger. And who does he happen to see at this time but Lea? A difficult guy to miss even out of the corner of one's eye, with all that hair.
He raises a hand in greeting, a "sup!" as he comes on over.

"Cool. Hey, we need all hobbies, huh? You got nothing you really wanna try going someday?"
Maybe when he's feeling more confident.

He looks about the area with that, hard to imagine the trees wouldn't get crowded quick if they were stuffed in a train carriage.
"Berries, they grow closer to the ground, don't they? Oh," his tone shifts, "but I think they're usually bushes."
Is that any better than a tree?
no subject
"And yeah a lot of berries grow on bushes. They'd be a bit more workable than trees, but would still take too long to grow. We might be able to grow some strawberries though, or other fruit that grows on smaller plants or along the ground, like melons. We might be able to manage some grape vines too; not sure how fast those grow." It had to be faster than trees though, right?

Standard Car - Late Day 1
Now in the rght place, sorry
no subject
And thankfully Kairi wouldn't be kept waiting too long, as Lea soon approached with a smaller figure in a Black Coat in tow. "Sorry to keep you waiting," he said. "But I wanted to make sure to introduce you two. Kairi, this is Xion, one of my best friends. It's kind of a long story, like I said on the platform, but she was what I'd forgotten."
"And Xion, this is Kairi; pretty sure you already have an idea who she is. She and I were doing Keyblade training together back home before I got yanked off to the Tenscore Kingdoms."
How do we want to handle turn order?
But it was odd, even having met Sora briefly, somehow... Xion never expected to actually meet Kairi. And she didn't know what to think or do or say.
How alike were they? Did anyone even need Xion around, if Kairi was here? Xion hadn't quite been fully Sora or Kairi's Nobody, created as she was from Sora's memories of Kairi. She was not quite either.
But... she was a person now. She was allowed to not want to be replaced, wasn't she? Would the others on the train want to replace her anyway? Kairi had a Keyblade, Axel had a Keyblade. Since they weren't trying to form Kingdom Hearts... did the train really need three Keyblades?
She realized that when Roxas had been here there had been three but... was that why the train made him leave? Was it going to make her or Axel leave now that Kairi was here? She didn't want to go, and she didn't want Axel to go either. Terror rooted her in place as she stared from under her hood.
Lea -> Xion -> Kairi Might work
"Hello, Xion. It's nice to meet you." Although she hadn't heard much about them but with what he had explained it had made sense as to why he hadn't before.
Though the one thing she didn't understand was the hood. She assumed there was a reason, maybe they were shy or something. She could understand that.
"I hope that we can get to know each other"
Works for me if it works for you two. :3
"I hope so too," Lea said. "Xion's got a lot more experience wielding a Keyblade than either you or I do. We can't really let loose with magic or anything on the train, but I bet if we all practiced together in the training gym, we could learn a lot from each other."
He glanced at his hooded friend. "What do you think, Xion?"
Fine by me.

And wrapped! TY both for the thread!
TY to you both!Sh
Sleeper Six - a day or so after platform, if that works?
Nita seemed in something of a hurry to see the Keyblade wielder today - holding, naturally, a book in her hands.
"Remember when we were talking about learning more about those void platforms? Well, I got lucky in the shop, and..."
Lea could probably imagine the rest of what she'd say word for word: take a look at this!
Works for me. :3
"'An Introduction to Liminal Spaces'," he read the title aloud. That alone didn't mean much to him, but after he read the basic description of the book's contents... "Oh, hey, nice! This ought to be useful. And not just to us either, but to everybody who comes on board after now. At least we'll be able to explain something to them."
no subject
"Might be more abstract than some would like, but there's a whole technique to it!"
Not unlike, she couldn't help but imagine, the ascetic universes where kernel-wielding practice occurred...
"It's good to find how some things are formalized, sometimes."
no subject
"And it kinda makes me wonder if Betwixt and Between back home would be called a 'liminal space' by this world's standards. It looks a lot like the void- all swirling colors and stuff-, but it's really the space you pass through when using a Dark Corridor. Hence the name; it's 'between' where you started out and where you're trying to end up."
no subject
This was looking to be a very interesting conversation, above and beyond the inclusion of the book.
no subject
"Though I wouldn't recommend trying it too often without a Black Coat like the one Xion wears. It's more than just a fashion statement; it's protection. Too much exposure to darkness is dangerous, even when you know what you're doing, and the Black Coat wards off its effects."
