Kitchens
There is a sense of calm when he goes through with the meal preparation of the month. The task is familiar enough that it makes him smile. Sometimes one needed the familiar motions of chopping, preparing, and cooking to help them feel centered again. He hears a clatter and looks up from where he's washing dishes with a warm smile.

"Oh! Were you looking for me?"

Quiet room
Sizhui takes a deep breath in then releases that same breath out, slow and steady as he settles into a meditation practice that Hanguang Jun had taught him since he was a young boy. His eyes slowly close. Another breath in, breath out.

The door slides open and Sizhui doesn't move from his place, instead remaining calm and smiling softly as his meditation is walked in on.

Spending time with brother
Sizhui makes his way through his brother's usual haunts to see if he could find Sizhui. There were quite a few things they needed to talk about. He pokes his head around the corner.

"Ah, didi?" he calls out. "Are you here?"

shovel talk with Dennis
Someone else he wanted to talk to was his friend Dennis. Well. His friend for now. Depending on how things go, he may gain another brother soon enough. Though he wonders if Dennis truly knows what it means to be invovled with a Lan. He only knows from the stories he's heard from Xian-ge and Hanguang Jun.

"Dennis?"

It was becoming very clear that this was going to be a topic of discussion he was going to have to tackle with more than just Jingyi and Sizhui, even if he felt that it should just be between them at this point. He doesn't know what to expect with Wen Sizhui finds him, so he smiles friendly enough when he hears his name called.

"Hey," He doesn't even have to second guess which Sizhui he is now, "What's up?"

WangJi had been walking through the train, as he was normally known to do. It was something that he couldn't get rid of even on the train - patrolling.

But he had ended up at the kitchen in his walk, Little Carrot hopping along next to him. The rabbit at least seemed excited for the walk and went bounding into the kitchen, making perhaps a bit too much noise and running back over to WangJi when it startled him.

WangJi gave Wen Sizhui a faint smile when he turned around. "Yes."

Not that he had actually been looking for him, but he would never turn it down.

Where Wen Sizhui finds him is definitely one of the places he hangs out most days, although it's clear he's been spending time in the garden car even more often than usual. It's perfect for meditating; tranquil and quiet, though not without sound entirely, which helps him focus on something that isn't his too-loud thoughts. (The quiet carriage had been his first hideaway, but its silence proved deafening at times.)

Hearing that name from a familiar voice instantly captures Sizhui's attention, has his eyes fluttering open as he directs his attention toward the older boy. “Gege,” comes his soft greeting. “Over here.” And if verbal communication isn't enough, his left hand raises then waves, gesturing him over to the bench he's perched on.

The door opens and reveals Lan Wangji, seeking his own quiet if he is judged by the tiredness in his eyes. He stops and stares for a moment, a little taken aback by a familiar face in black and red before he hesitantly enters and closes the door.
He doesn't attempt to break the silence, just sits next to him and slowly begins to settle into the rhythmic breathing they are both so familiar with.

He feels some tension seep from him as they sit together, waiting patiently for calm. Sitting beside his son, even if it is not the one from his world, has always helped to bring him peace.
