New Rooms! Day Twelve
Finally, after the evacuation is over it is time to board the train once again. As the doors close and they shudder out into the void the familiar voice speaks.
"Welcome back Voidtreckers. Well done on your successful mission. There has been a small accommodation change so please all check your tickets to ensure you find the correct cabin."
Indeed some passengers may have already tried to enter their rooms to find they cannot. If they check their tickets or the passenger roster they will find their room has been changed.
Anyone who has moved cabins will find that any things they did not take with them on the mission have been moved from their room and are packed neatly in a suitcase in their new cabin.
Time to greet your new roommates and start the negotiating for top bunks all over again.

She kept her face blank though her eyes showed worry when Tony pointed at her, accusing her of snapping the towel at Ignis. She could admit it, therefore getting into trouble with Ignis or deny it therefore losing Tony's trust. Was this a test? Was Tony testing her loyalty?
Her eyes flicked between the two, knuckles white where they gripped the juice glass. There was no right answer here, she liked Ignis' friendship, the way he didn't expect words and gave her food. But remaining on Tony's good side was fundamental to her survival.
She hates this. She wished there was someone she understood on the train. Peter got Tony and his aunt. She wished Kant was here. Or even Taiwin. Even Elina even though the thought of that filled her with fear too.
"I do be being sorry, Ignis." She said quietly, completely convincingly. "I will no be doing it again."

Of course he knew who snapped the towel and when he was about to say something, Buttercup's false yet sincere confession absolutely floored Ignis. How could she take the blame when she was sitting innocently in a chair sipping the juice he'd given her?
Green eyes looked at her and then at Tony with only questionsin them. He was angry but only his eyes showed it. "Tony, you and I are going to have a talk later." And not a fun kind either.
Turning to the little girl, the advisor shook his head, heartbroken and angry but determined not to show either. Instead he smiled at her. "You've nothing to apologize for."
Not knowing what else to do, he went back to his cookies, trying to figure out why Buttercup would outright lie to cover Tony's ass. And then he shook his head, not wanting to think about other things.

"I'm sorry. I was joking around. I didn't mean that to be serious," he explained to the young girl after Ignis had said his piece. He got up and poured himself some coffee, giving himself a moment to think. "How about we come up with a code for whenever I'm joking around? That way you know I'm not being serious." And just in case she was worried. "Ignis and I already have one and Peter and I have one. So this would be just between you and I."

She teetered on the edge of the emptiness, the only reason she didn't enter was that Tony would recognise it and he would know she was out of her depth. In that way it was less useful than it once had been. But if this got worse she would retreat there.
The silence whilst Tony gathered his thoughts was intense, she waited, to see if any of them would talk or if they would just keep giving her and each other odd looks whilst saying words that meant everything was fine.
But Tony's suggestion, was actually a good one. It would be better if he didn't just joke and confuse people but this was a good idea too. "You do be having one with Peter and Ignis?"
That was interesting. That they got confused as well. It makes her feel a little less stupid about everything.
