New Rooms! Day Twelve
Finally, after the evacuation is over it is time to board the train once again. As the doors close and they shudder out into the void the familiar voice speaks.
"Welcome back Voidtreckers. Well done on your successful mission. There has been a small accommodation change so please all check your tickets to ensure you find the correct cabin."
Indeed some passengers may have already tried to enter their rooms to find they cannot. If they check their tickets or the passenger roster they will find their room has been changed.
Anyone who has moved cabins will find that any things they did not take with them on the mission have been moved from their room and are packed neatly in a suitcase in their new cabin.
Time to greet your new roommates and start the negotiating for top bunks all over again.

"Hi everyone! I'm Mako Tsunami! I hope we can get along well." He first hurries to secure his own items, glancing around at the various bunks. "I don't have any particular preference for which bed to take," he notes. "So if any of you do, I'm fine with you picking first."
3-A
But regardless, he lingers outside of the cabin, looking around to see who else may be around.
"Anyone got cabin A on their ticket now? Or still?"
2-E
She peeks her head in, looking a little shy. "Um, I think I need to sleep here now..?"

Blinking though, when she recognized both Ple Two and Madoka. Paused, before clearing her throat gently. "You two have been relocated? I usually grab one of the top-bunks, but I'm not picky honestly. At least as long as it's quiet."

So when some of the initial surprise fades, Madoka starts to smile especially wide.
"Are we all sharing a cabin now..? I'm so glad!"
There's no hugging. (Yet.) Consider yourself lucky.

The voice had him pause and he checked his ticket. Green eyes blinked in surprise as he now had another cabin assignment. This couldn't be right, and he double and triple checked but the ticket now bore 1-C. He knew he was tired but this was preposterous, why had it changed while he was away?
There'd be no negotiation for a bunk because he liked being closer to the ground though he was certainly no stranger to heights. His stuff was here and he awkwardly stared at it.
"Why were we reassigned?" He's talking to himself here.

He frowned a little at the announcement and looked at his ticket. Nothing was strange there, so he didn't think much more about it. He considered going straight to Ignis' room but he wanted to drop off his rucksack first and freshen up. Stepping into the room, he was thrown off to find the very man he had been thinking about in front of him. He paused with a confused look and looked on the outside of the doorway at the list of residents.
Huh.
"Well, this is convenient," he remarked, giving Ignis a smirk and coming up to slap him in the ass.

This was its own problem but it wasn't unworkable, they'd solve it. But green eyes noted that no one was here at the moment. So a smile appeared on the advisor's face, and he lifted a hand to gently touch Tony's face. Relief flooded through him at both of them being safe and sound and more importantly, together.
"It is convenient darling, but it does make me wonder how closely we're monitored."

When Ignis' hand touched his face, he tossed his rucksack onto the floor and wrapped his arms around the advisor. Kissing him solidly, he could feel some of the stress from the past week slipping away. No one had died or gotten seriously injured. He'd have to do an inventory later regarding what had been taken from the world that would be useful here, but that was for some other time. Right now, he was going to enjoy these few minutes of being alone with his boyfriend.
"Feanor mentioned a similar worry during out last council meeting. This place seems to have no privacy whatsoever between us and the conductor or whoever is in charge. It might be hard to hide the fact that something keeps sending me back to my bunk every single night." He looked at the bunk and then back at Ignis. "Have a preference on which bunk you'd like to have as officially yours? I make no promises of staying out of your bed though."

He checks his ticket, making sure to keep his hand shielding the actual name printed on it, and makes his way to Cabin 1-B. There he starts checking over the bunks to see where his stuff had been moved. He had a book, and he wasn't about to lose track of that.
2:C - open
It took her glancing at the ticket in her hand to see she'd been reassigned.
That was fine. Maybe a change of scenery and a change of roommates would help her get into a better routine. Isle Kids handled shake-ups pretty well.
Speaking of Isle Kids, it was a moment before she'd gotten to her new room that she thought she better tell Harry where she was now, and then a second later, Evie was standing outside the door to 2C, laughing.
Looks like she didn't have to tell Harry anything. His name was on the door, too. Using her ticket to get into the room, she finds her belongings and immediately sets to work putting her things away, wondering if Harry found the reassignment yet.
At least neither of them had to worry about Khary, anymore.

Danny double checks the number on his ticket and then makes his way to 2-C. He pushes it open and and gives anyone who already in there an uncertain grin.
"Uh, hello? I guess we're roommates now."
no subject
“It appears that way. By any chance, do you know why they switched us up?”

He'd only been here a month, so for all he knew this was a monthly thing.

"I wonder what the train authorities are up to?" he wonders. "Do they have some stake in who rooms with whom?"

And then he grins at her. "Did you have a nice smoke?"

At least, until she checked the ICP to confirm that Peter and Gwen hadn't disappeared in the short time between the evacuation and the train leaving. She'd be unnerved by losing all of her cabinmates, but at least she recognised the names that replaced them.
Placated, she began setting up the few souvenirs she'd managed to scavenge during the week, and waited for the Thunderstorms to find their new cabin.

But that is not her name on the door, and neither is Dread's name on the door any more--she stops the Roegadyn from making her mistake with a hand.
"Our rooms have changed!" she exclaimed, and started with the easiest notion--going back to check the first cabin. "But we're right here, in 1A--that's convenient..."
Until she realizes just who else they're rooming with--her giggling can likely be heard up and down the hall.

"Hm," was all he said, leaning in to look at the nameplates. Then, with a slight shrug, he stepped up to the door. Sure enough, it opened; they definitely had moved again.

Whatever, this may as well have happened.
He shakes his head and swipes his ticket before climbing over to the same bunk he'd had in the past cabin. But what if Miles wants a top bunk? He could handle being on the bottom bunk. It's not like he was really going to be sleeping anyway.
He moves his stuff to a bottom bunk and crawls into bed to just rest for a bit.
Re: 3B
She hasn't seen her best friend in ages, so there may or may not be a small frown on her face.
Swinging herself up to the bunk above Peter's, she's quiet for a few minutes as she stretches out with a huff.
"Miles better still be on this stupid train somewhere, otherwise I'm punching the wall again and I'm pretty sure I'll be pissed enough to actually get through it."
Re: 3B
Opening the door she finds her nephew and Gwen already there. "Hi you two," she says throwing her stuff onto the other bottom bunk.

Moving over to the coffee pot after Tony, the advisor poured himself some coffee. Then he went about the business of getting the oven preheated and getting the frosting prepared.
