New Rooms! Day Twelve

Finally, after the evacuation is over it is time to board the train once again. As the doors close and they shudder out into the void the familiar voice speaks.

"Welcome back Voidtreckers. Well done on your successful mission. There has been a small accommodation change so please all check your tickets to ensure you find the correct cabin."

Indeed some passengers may have already tried to enter their rooms to find they cannot. If they check their tickets or the passenger roster they will find their room has been changed.

Anyone who has moved cabins will find that any things they did not take with them on the mission have been moved from their room and are packed neatly in a suitcase in their new cabin.

Time to greet your new roommates and start the negotiating for top bunks all over again.

"I doubt it as well. They barely cooperate with us, now." Sarai shook her head at that.

Then she made a face, as Lightning relayed the difficulty faced by the Red team members. "I almost wish I were on Red! I'm small enough that it probably would not have been a crush, were I among you. Still, I think I was where I needed to be."

To judge by the reactions of the lindusi, at least. She had had no problems encouraging the beasts onto the transports, after all.

"We would've handled it perfectly," Dread said, the gentlest of nudges pushed to his wife's shoulder. "You could've sat on my lap, no problems at all."

"Right. That'd be the one ship with no problems," she agreed easily enough.

"Wonder why we've been moved around, though..."

"I've no clue," Sarai said, rolling her eyes and giving Dread a smile, even as her cheeks went slightly pink. "And we didn't move very far, now, did we? Conan's right next door, still in our old quarters. I hope he gets along with his new roommates..."

She'd have to tell the young man he'd be welcome to drop by.

Dread folded his arms, though not quite in a normal fashion; he tended to rest one arm atop the other rather than actually crossing them. "I wonder if there is a reason besides to confuse us. I'm starting to feel a lot of what happens is just arbitrary."
