What: Peter got a bunch of people sick There's a cold/flu going around. Oh no!

[ If you find yourself coughing or sneezing or with flu/cold like symptoms come on down to the game car. There's cushy beanbags, games and probably soup. ]

[ You'll still be miserable but at least you'll have games and soup. ]

[ Conan glances up at her, more than a little blearily. He really hated the lack of focus that came with low grade fevers ].

I know. Fluids and rest, right? [ He'd had a lot of colds, and he'd heard it all before. ]

Along with monitoring your temperature. Think I can get a read on that, so I can see how your fever is doing?

[He simply nods and sets his book aside.]

Do you have a thermometer?

[Raven did not smile, just nodded. Pulling one out of the bag she'd brought with her, along with a little plastic sheath to go around it.]

I'm glad you're familiar with it already. How have your pulse and blood pressure been? Symptoms besides the fever and coughing?

I get a lot of colds. [He takes a look at the thermometer long enough to satisfy himself that it was similar to what he'd used before.]

I haven't noticed anything with my pulse or blood pressure. My stomach has been a little upset, but I haven't noticed anything besides some nausea.

The nausea could be almost anything, but noted. Do you need a bucket or is it just grumblings of it?

[Waiting to ask her question until the Thermometer beeped. Taking it from him to read, then dark-energy pulling the plastic sheet off and into a trash-bag, as the thermometer was replaced.]

It's been just a little of it so far. [Though that had been the reason he hadn't eaten much of the soup or tea. ]

[Raven just makes a small hmm noise, thinking.]

We'll keep an eye on the nausea, but you might just be in the phase where you need rest more than anything. Would you object to a bottle of tea or water kept nearby? Fluids will help and if the nausea gets better we can do more soup.

Tea please? I think I could try some of that later.

[And Conan thought she might be right about that. He could feel the exhaustion dragging on him.]

"I'll bring you some hot tea for now and a water-bottle. Rest if you can, then when you get back up we can try some food."

[Raven moved to grab his old stuff to get rid of it along the way. It didn't take her too long to return with a fresh cup of hot tea, and a water-bottle of cool water.]

[He takes the hot tea, setting the water to the side, and makes an attempt at sipping from it. ]

I'll check on you again in about an hour. I expect that tea to be finished though.

[It's not said unkindly, even if her deadpan tone makes it hard to tell sometimes.]

[He was just prone to forgetting about things like eating and drinking when he was reading through a good book. ]

[Okay, one side of her mouth might have twitched up a smidge in amusement.]

I will take the book and hide it, to ensure you don't get too distracted. Don't make me do that, alright?

[She could relate very well.]

"Fine, I promise I'll drink all the tea."

Raven had stumbled across one of the few ways to motivate him.

It was a method that would work on Raven herself, which is why she offered it. After that first conversation about books with Conan, she'd sensed a kindred spirit. "And I promise to only use this knowledge for good." With a hint of a smirk on her face, before heading off to make a 'round' of the patients.
