Gwen - OTA
Still not this girl! Not that she'll admit.
She has a bowl of Evie's soup nearby, and she's eaten...some of it. It's damn good soup, but Gwen is not in the mood. Instead, she's plugged her iPhone into the wall and has propped it up on some books.
She's taken over one of the beanbag chairs and has a blanket over her head as she's stretched out on her stomach, watching Warm Bodies.
Come bother. Expect crabbiness. Except maybe Peter or Miles. ]

OTA
...the train plague.
Joscelin is dead, thank you very much. He died of the real plague 670 years ago, give or take. He canât get sick. The only times heâs ever been remotely this unwell were when his body was fighting back against poison, or he accidentally overexerted himself in a magical healing situation (donât ask). Not like this.
He wakes up on the second day of Domino feeling a little achey and tired, and by dinner time that evening his voice wonât go above a hoarse croak. He goes to bed early that night but sleeps badly, waking himself up with a cough or plugged sinuses.
By the next morning, his fever is so high that he actually has a temperature: his normally cool skin actually feels like warm to the touch. His head is pounding.
âI donât get sick,â he protests to whoever will listen. âI canât get sick. Iâm not even alive!â

Assuming they're passed Names
Princess- OTA
It's for the best.
Not that Princess shows it, by the way he hops about, steals laps (Yes, any open lap will do) and tries to con people into feeding him, but there's telltale signs: the way his wings are held tight against his back, the tighter than normal curl of his tail, the way in which he curls up.
The sneezes here and there.
Sure he's stealing your lap, but it's less because he can and more because he's sick and miserable.
Re: Princess- OTA
She's watching old videos of herself playing the drums, not because she wants to? But because she hit a playlist expecting one thing, got this, and is just leaving it.
Whatever. She doesn't care. Just eat your dang soup, Princess.

Miles - OTA
So, he's claimed one of the beanbags and alternates between drawing and playing games and pushing a spoon around soup without ever actually eating anything.
Excuse him while he dramatically feels like he's dying. ]

Day 4: Yep, him too.
Okay so near the end of the fourth day, right when some of the other kids might be starting to feel better, yet one more person comes in to collapse on the couch- shoving whoever was on the couch off (unless it's Romeo or Madoka) in the process.
"Someone who isn't Peter go get me a hot water bottle and tell Ignis he's in charge of the train."
no subject
Tony might have shoved Joss off the couch, but he crawls right back up and leans against Tony, offering his box of tissues. His fever still hasnât broken so heâs radiating heat for the first time since his death centuries ago, and heâs hating every second of it.
ââM not gonna do it,â he croaks, too sick for the impeccable BBC English he usually adopts. âSend someone else.â

Care-Visits! OTA
Which means she's actually not covered up in her usual cowl and cloak, but the white cloth mask covering her nose and mouth. The purple polo and black pants and boots of her Train uniform are her minimum, and the small bag she carries with supplies and medicine come with her.
She's wearing gloves if she needs to, but is doing her best to make sure everyone is hydrating and resting. Trying to keep a time and check on fevers and symptoms, and hopefully no one will need anything more than just time and rest.
hi fellow babysitter
She's roughly in the same boat is Raven, basically, except her mask is black. And she's coming onto a 'shift' as Raven is either leaving or going to fetch more supplies.

Romeo didn't know what was happening at first when he first starting feeling weird. His nose felt funny and his head felt muggy and he felt dizzy when he stood up. He was warm and cold all at the same time.
He had no idea what was going on but soon he learned that this was what being sick meant. He couldn't remember being sick before, he hadn't been sick in the heavens. He found his way to the game carriage when he learned that that was where the sick people were.
Once there he did his best to help keep peoples spirits up, he walked around and tried to cheer people up. Offered to play games with the people who were up for it.
He knew that you shouldn't make food when you were sick because you might give your sickness to everyone else so he didn't do that, but he tried to help people as best he could!
Sleeping
Being sick was exhausting though and soon Romeo could be found on a beanbag. He had sat down with his book Romeo and Juliet but he couldn't really concentrate on the words and soon he was fast asleep.
For those with enhanced senses or great hearing this might be concerning because the small child slumped on the beanbag definitely does not have a heartbeat at all.

Bucky | Just here to help | OTA
Since he can't get sick, it's only fair for him to help out, bringing in tea or soup or whatever people needed. If someone gives him puppy eyes, maybe he could even be convinced to hold them.
And no, he's not bringing people things they're allergic to.
He hopes.no subject
Given the utter lack of things to do on the train, Peggy has found herself donning a mask and pitching in to care for the children. Not for the first time, she wonders if this is what 1919 had been like. Sheâd heard stories about the Spanish Flu pandemic from her parents and other adults growing up, even played nurse to her dolls as a very young child.
Sheâs just finished passing out what feels like a hundred mugs of tea when she spots Bucky.
âSome of these kids canât be any older than seven or eight years old,â she says, by way of greeting. âWhat value could there possibly be in kidnapping them?â

Fëanor | OTA | Elves don't get stupid things like void flu . . . or do they?
[When half of the train goes down with the plague at first Fëanor doesn't know what to think about it. It's entirely possible he never encountered a sick person in his life. The shock wears off quickly and, really, he can reason like a logical person he is so he's fast to realise that all who got sick had contact with others that were sick before. That's even before anyone tells him it's an infectious disease.
Fortunately patient zero, Peter, because of course it's Peter, who else could that possibly be. Truly the kid has some talent for getting into all sorts of trouble. So Peter has holed himself in the Game Car - where else - and rest of the plagued population followed his example. So isolation works.
He would consult his conclusions with people he knows posses actual medical knowledge. Said people being Ignis or Lightning whoever he can get hold of first. Still, even without their opinion, he'll make sure that every single item, surface or scrap of fabric the diseased has touched gets washed, scrubbed or otherwise thoroughly cleaned.
Business as usual
[Even in the face of such calamity food needs to be made, clothes washed, common and personal spaces cleaned. So no matter the current chores assignments everyone who's not falling over gets recruited - or forced - into whatever task currently needs doing.
Fëanor can be pretty persuasive and he famously won't take no for an answer. That way he can valiantly take over the kitchen and expertly dodge doing the bathroom cleaning duty which he absolutely hates. And even Lightning can't send him condemning looks right now because it's an emergency.
Wildcard...
[ooc: anything else? aaand the question remains... if little dead children can get sick, is it really impossible for immortal Eldar?]
Business as usual
Her medical knowledge, limited to first aid, on-scene stabilising and the administering of over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, is actually useful for this. Doesn't stop her feeling inadequate, though. ]
Take a breather. None of them are getting any sicker.

roundin up the plagues // thread for Lan Wangji, Lan Sizhui, Wei Wuxian
Try resignation.
Her break gets further away. First as she collars Fëanor to be another pair of arms. Second, as the two of them move the sick through the four sleeper corridors, through the garden and into the lower floor of the games carriage, which by now is a parade of low-grade misery. Third, as she heartlessly kicks one of the Spider-teens over to their partner so they can arrange the trio on the now vacated beanbag sofa so they stop glaring at her if she moves them more than a few metres apart.
Well, 'glaring'. They're not really awake enough. She appreciates the effort, and ignores it entirely in favour of placing a blanket across them. ]
I'm going to get you some medicine. Try not to talk too much. Fëanor, thanks.

Not Sick; Looking for Crayons đ« OTA
She had never been in the game car before but it was easy to find the stash of games that resigned there. Dressed in the bright orange hoodie and a mask, she rummaged through the games in search for crayons.
She eventually finds a game called Crayon Rails but until then she can be found neatly siphoning through the different games, occasionally pausing to read the games that looked interesting. There wasn't time for her to stop and check out all the games but she made a mental note to come back when everyone was feeling better.
Anyone who had seen her video about making get-well cards might recognize her and is welcome to help or speak to her.

"Can I help?" He wasn't very good at drawing, but he was excellent at forgery. Maybe he could copy some of the things Namine drew and combine them in different ways to make unique cards.

After she comes down with Plague - OTA
Luckily, she seems to have wound up with a milder case than some of the kids. Her fever is low, and she hasn't developed the rattling cough she's seen in many of the children.
But even a slight cold is an annoyance. It's a loss of control that she can't stand, not when there is so much to be done. She sighs and deals herself into a game of Solitaire, thinking rather uncharitable thoughts about Peter Parker and his foolish insistence that he be out on the platform to greet the new prisoners. So much could have been avoided if he'd simply stayed in his room.

One of said teenagers is looking... much better, actually. Kaito blesses the kami who looks after thieves and magicians as he's always bounced back quickly. He'd still be annoying Conan, but the little detective is about ready to use the dreaded Shoes, and he'd prefer no concussions, so... besides, this lady looks REALLY bored.
He offers her a paper rose with a cheerful grin.

Maglor | Another stupid elf who can't really get sick | OTA
This elf comes bearing blankets, pillows, water, and soup at various points of the day, working tirelessly for the comfort of those who are ill. But also he strikes up a song, offering healing to those born under the curse of this virus. Selflessly spending his own energy if it will help ease the suffering of those in this carriage.
Elsewhere
Maglor doesn't have much time to spare, but what he does have is more hours of being awake (or, well, he'll just...not...sleep unless forced to by a relative) and so has more time to help the rest of the train. He checks in on those few who haven't been taken down to quarantine, making sure they also don't need anything. He checks on the other helpers, making sure they also get food, water, and rest.

Quarantine
Luke | Helping until his body nopes out
He was going to kill Peter.
Luke didn't know what possessed the kid to not just admit he was sick the moment he started feeling awful, but because he didn't, it spread way more than he felt comfortable with. He wasn't a nurse, but he at least had some kind of field medicine experience; even still, he felt like it wasn't doing him much good. So the least he could do was make sure people were kept warm and had tea and soup to help them, even if they didn't have much in the way of actual medicine to make this end faster.
Besides, if he actually left the quarantine at this point, he was pretty sure he'd end up carrying it through the rest of the train, even if he didn't get sick himself.
[ BRB Dying ]
Funny story, but he was sick.
Luke managed to make it through the rest of the day, ensuring everyone else was all right and had everything they needed, before he finally collapsed onto a beanbag himself, burying his face into it to hide a violent cough that made his body shake. He fumbled for a blanket, pulling it over his head and letting out a faint groan.
Hopefully all he would need was to rest and he'd be able to be back up and running tomorrow morning. That's how this worked, right?
BRB Dying
"Get your-" He started coughing, unable to say the rest of his insult/ invitation. When he could finally breathe properly again, he groaned and put a hand to his head. "Think you could just lightsaber my head off and put me out of my misery?"

Peter Parker is definitely sick. His head is pounding, his throat feels like sandpaper, his stomach rebelled against the last thing he ate, he's got chills and standing up causes more vertigo than he really wants to deal with so he's holed up in the game room with the few other people that seem to have caught whatever he has (whoops?) and taken over a couch for now. He'll move if the population suddenly increases but right now he's sprawled on the couch-a book he grabbed from the library shelf in hand, an empty cup of tea and not even half a water glass sitting nearby.
He didn't want to be sick. He really, really was hoping that he wasn't and it was just some weird reaction form his Spideysense brought on by Vader, maybe. But no, he's sick and he feels like he's fluctuating between melting and freezing. It's been awhile since he was this sick-let alone sick at all. Getting sick as Peter Parker was always an ordeal that led to the emergency room a few times. Someone told him his temperature was at 104 earlier and all the could think was 'yeah, of course it is.' And then went back to reading.
He doesn't know what time it is exactly when he wakes up but now he feels worse. He hears shuffling nearby and sits up on the couch to see who was joining them. "Aunt May." He says when he sees her, guilt pooling into his stomach. He didn't want her to know he was sick, he didn't want her to worry.
{ Day 2 - Afternoon | OTA }
Peter doesn't feel any better on day two-he sometimes feels even worse and his fever managed to reach 105 at some point but honestly that doesn't surprise him. He's been sick a lot in his life and usually his fever was anywhere from from 104-106. It even reached 107 once.
More people have shuffled into the game car to lay around and be sick by this time and he, being the considerate boy he is, has graciously sacrificed the couch he'd been on and laid his sleeping bag on the floor with his pillows. Not the best pallet but it'll do. Besides, he intends to be asleep most of the day anyway. Man does he miss movies.
