At long last Day Two has arrived and after several days of planning and last minute Party Prep the Gym has been transformed into, what Peter and Gwen think, a pretty awesome Party space.
They're invited everyone on the train so come on by and enjoy some Midgardian Music, snacks and a learn a few new dances! Be sure to thank everyone that helped to put everything together!

At long last Day Two has arrived and after several days of planning and last minute Party Prep the Gym has been transformed into, what Peter and Gwen think, a pretty awesome Party space.

Because this is now official Operation Make Taiki All The Friends, in case you're wondering. Maybe it's not entirely right to push poor Taiki out of his shell this much, but Inigo thinks it may be for the better? He himself is super shy, yet he loves his friends' company. It could be the same for the other.

There were others, people he half remembered from dreams. Or people he had briefly spoken to but whose names he didn't know.
He wasn't sure he could even approach those he knew from dreams. What would he even say? Would they want to speak to him? He doesn't want to be an annoyance.

Although one stands out.. It makes Inigo lean a little closer towards the other guy so he can whisper. "Yuffie didn't try to flirt with you, did she?"

They hadn't spoken that much at all. Was that something she did often?

"You need to watch out for that!" .. granted, Inigo may not be realising that he kind of made her do that to tease him just because he started it.. but he's just trying to look out for the safety of his friend's heart here, okay. "She's too powerful, don't even get started on it with her! You'll be done for!"

.. although it does make him a little curious.
"Has a girl ever tried to flirt with you before? Just curious!"

"Does... Does that happen to you a lot?"

For some reason Inigo seems really hesitant about answering that question. His cheeks even turn faintly pink, although it's not a full on blush just yet.
"Usually I am the one initating the flirting, actually." He tries to say it in a way that's as cool as possible. It's a fairly decent attempt! "But it's still quite surprising when they return it so boldly!" He laughs.
"I'm surprised more girls don't do it to you, honestly. You're so sweet and quiet, you seem like the kind of person they would love to dote on."

It was a simple explanation and the truth. Obviously he knew a lot of girls in his own world but being a kirin spared him from any flirting attempts.

As to why he wouldn't know many girls. Or have many girls flirting with him. The concept of all boys schools or all girls schools doesn't exist where Inigo comes from, but it's not too strange to imagine it either, so he quickly understands.
"But who knows, perhaps it means this place is your chance then! Just make sure to not forget about your old friend Inigo once your schedule starts to fill up with cute girls wanting to spend time with you, alright?"

But also he would never want Inigo to think that if he made more friends he would forget about him. That could never happen. He shook his head. "I won't forget about you... Never by choice."
Because he can't promise never to forget someone, he knows that is sometimes out of their own hands.

His cheeks colour a faint pink, and he lets out a small laugh.
"I.. uh, thanks. I was kind of joking, but that's really sweet of you to say. I won't forget you either."

He did things like that. He wasn't very good at talking to people at all. Especially when they were joking, most of the situations he found himself in were extremely serious and not places where people made jokes.
But at least Inigo doesn't seem angry.

So he quickly says, "Don't apologize." Taiki should never have to apologize for anything. He's so great! "I think being so genuine" - and kind of oblivious in this way - "is your charm. You're just the first friend I've ever had who's like that, so I'm only slowly getting used to it."
Because most of his friends are sassy jerks. But they're his sassy jerks!

Then again, it had been easier this last week, on the train where he can feel Lord Gyousou so close. Smiling no longer felt so far away than it once had.
And Inigo calling him a friend... He can't remember the last time someone called him a friend. He's not sure anyone ever has. His smile grows and for a moment he is completely lost for words.
