What: So remember when Danny got jinxed last month....

There is a dented and battered thermos lying on the floor of the garden car, with no clues on where it came from or who left it there.

"No, I heard something," Glorfindel said. He held up the thermos and looked at it closer. "I think it's coming from in here." As odd as it sounded, of course. But he thought he'd heard a voice. Though it had stopped. "I was just about to open it to see if I could tell who it belonged to."

Cautiously, he unscrewed the top, holding it away from his face in case there was an angry creature inside.

Kitty frowned a bit, but didn't say anything. While she didn't hear anything herself, she also knew people who had better senses than she did, so she believed him if he said he heard something.

And she couldn't help being curious as she looked on while he unscrewed the top of the thermos. "Is there anything inside?"

The bright light stayed inside the now open thermos, which was quite odd. In his experience, light did not behave that way unless something was forcing it to.

Glorfindel tilted his head, he was very sure he heard something that time? "Push...the...button?" He looked at the thermos again, looking for whatever button it was.

"The light...feels familiar," he told Kitty.

She frowned, glancing between Glorfindel and the thermos. She wasn't sure what he meant by the light feeling familiar, but she tilted her head as she examined the thermos again.

"You mean this button?" she asked, pressing the most noticeable button she found on the side.

"Are you okay?" Glorfindel exclaimed, dropping the thermos and quickly going to Danny's side. "What happened?"

She gasps when Danny suddenly hits the far wall, and she hurries with Glorfindel over to him.

"Danny! Are you all right? What was that?"

"Do you need a hand up?" Glorfindel asked. He wanted to ask how one just got stuck in a thermos, but the part-ghost human looked embarrassed enough.

"Do we need fear this happening again?" he asked instead.

Taking a step back to give Danny more room, Kitty glanced back to where the thermos had been left behind.

"...What is that thermos for?"

"Why do you even have this?" Glorfindel asked. "Did you purchase it? And how do we make sure another accident doesn't happen? How did it, this time?"

Once she was sure that Danny was okay, Kitty walked back and carefully picked up the thermos. Giving it a quick once-over, she secured the lid on it, making sure to be careful with the button in it, before heading back over.

Oh, of course. Why wouldn't a young human just carry around the one thing that could hurt them. Glorfindel rubbed his forehead.

"Perhaps you should leave it in your cabin, usually? Even if it also works as an ordinary thermos, there are safer ones to use." he suggests.

She holds out the thermos to Danny, making the sure the opening - even with the lid capped back on - is facing away from Danny.

"Here," she says.
