Daia, being unusually bored, has gotten an idea in his head and wants to have some fun with everyone he can find. He leaves Rene in his room and grabs his pillow, then starts running down the hall. If you're in his path, he'll swing out to bonk you with his pillow.

"Pillow war in the Gym! Spread the word!"

And he giggles as he continues running, heading toward the Gym himself. He'll gather any spare pillows he can find and toss them in a pile, too. For anyone who needs a 'weapon'.

Wha-? Trunks knew what he was walking into. Really--he did. But some reflexes are hard to stop when he's ambushed by the doorway. There is suddenly this *object* flying towards him, so he ducked and moved to roll away, coming up in a crouch with his own pillow ready.

But he's grinning up at Senku. "Nice Ambush."

He grinned back, taking a few steps backwards. "Thanks."

The only problem in the pillow war was that now he was going to have to go toe to toe with Trunks, ambush aside. It's an early point but potentially it might not matter in the end. All in good fun, at least.

Fortunately for Senku, and others, Trunks is aware this is all in fun. Which means he's in it for the fun, not to win--otherwise there'd be trouble.

"Never did catch your name before." Coming out of his crouch and hefting his own pillow in warning.

He was going to have to retrieve the one he threw so he looked like he was considering his strategic options.

"Yeah, that's probably right. Senku." Senku had a habit of not introducing himself or indulging in much social niceties.

Okay, he was going to wait for Trunks to throw his pillow, hopefully dodge that, maybe and then go get his own back.

Keep waiting, because Trunks isn't going to throw his pillow. He's lunging closer with the pillow grasped as if it were a shield, and he's 'punching'. Controlled and holding it all, but that pillow isn't being thrown.

"Name's Trunks."

"Alright Trunks." He smirked, his plan was not coming to fruition, but that was okay. He could think fast on his feet.

Senku feinted left, then went right in an effort to sprint past Trunks and get hold of his pillow again. A short sprint wouldn't be much of an issue, as long as it didn't turn into something prolonged and annoying.

"Then it is *on*, Senku." It was a nice feint, and would've been a good sprint. Trunks is quicker on his feet though, shifting the pillow to his other hand and holding it by the corner. Whipping it around to fwhamp Senku in the shoulder with easy force.

"Ack!" He cried out in surprise as he was whacked, but he focused on his goal, crouching down to grab his pillow again.

Senku swung around with a smirk. He was all bravado and he knew it but that didn't matter. He wasn't the kind of person to give up.

"I'll accept." He grinned and charged forward, aiming for Trunks' head.

Trunks ducked and struck out in turn with two quick strikes of retaliation--one for each arm.

Trunks was quick, wasn't he? Senku huffed a bit and backed off a few steps, circling his opponent a little.

Maybe the better strategy would be to wait for him to come over to Senku first, and react.

"You might be ahead now." He taunted. "But not for long!"

Senku had no idea really, poor guy. Trunks let him circle, and chuckled. "Keep telling yourself that." In a light taunt, before he moved. Still quick, but agile too even if he was wielding a pillow. Senku received more strikes, all meant to be felt, but not to hurt at all.

Circling, biding his time, didn't work and he completely fell into Trunks' pace, and potentially that was the biggest trap at all because Senku was moving.

Sure, he was swatting him back with the pillow when he came close, but he was having to keep trying his best to dodge, even though that was not terribly successful on his end.

From the way he was beginning to breathe heavily, this is not the best situation for him and he is glancing about, looking for some scientific based strategy he can use.

Trunks had noticed, and while 'fun' was one things--he was starting to get concerned. "Need a break?" He was genuine in asking too, no taunt or judgement.

He would've taunted back if it wasn't so genuine, but the question did let him stop for just a second, if that.

"Nope." Senku grinned and shrugged. "Just going to ignore that." He would be exhausted later, from pushing himself, but that was fine because then it would be bedtime. Ignoring things was always the most brilliant plan.

Well, if the other insisted... Trunks moved back in and continued his quick hits, before smacking at Senku's arm that held the other's pillow. Using that as cover to grab said pillow too, and 'disarm' his opponent. "Give up?"

He did insist, and he did his best to keep up with Trunks while being outclassed. He realized what his strategy was, and to Senku's credit he held onto his pillow for a few seconds, and did provide some resistance to having it pulled away, before ultimately losing it.

"Heh." He chuckled a little bit."Just have to...get that back."

"Only if you don't attack me with it, and take a break." Trunks responded, making sure his grip on both pillows was firm. "I think you need it."

"Really." Senku answered with a bit of a groan. "I'm not that tired." He complained. "There's nothing I can do about this. It's just how I am."

"Maybe, but I'm not the kind of person who'll kick an honorable opponent when he's down." Trunks pointed out in turn.

Senku put his hands on his hips. He looked frustrated. "I'm not down, I'm standing right here." He argued, a frown pulling at his lips a little bit.

"I'm totally fine, you know."

"Alright. I was trying to be diplomatic." Trunks sighed, crossing his arms and still holding onto both pillows. "You're not a challenge, even for fun."

He crossed his arms, shifting his stance a little bit, lips pressed together for a moment.

"I know that."

Trunks sighed and tossed Senku a pillow. "Which means it's not fun to fight you anymore."

Senku had a very neutral expression on his face as he caught the pillow and tucked it under his arm. "Yeah. I got it."

He turned around and headed out of the gym.

"What, so you're going to give up just like that?" Trunks was annoyed, partially at himself now too. "Your ambush was pretty smart. Try using tactics like that more." But he wouldn't stop Senku from leaving.
