Wedding Day - Open Mingle
Who: WangJi, WuXian, and anyone who wants to come
Where: Dressing Car and Gym Car
When: Day 29
What: WuXian and WangJi get married again. Wedding and Reception
Warnings: Aside from gratuitous pdas from the newlyweds? Probably nothing. Let me know if something needs to be added
The day had quickly arrived after the date had been picked out. The dressing car was opened by the train, letting everyone who wished to attend go to pick out something formal to wear for the event, and very early in the morning, the gym had been decorated appropriately for the Chinese wedding ceremony, mostly in the color red with some gold mixed in. Near the door of the carriage was a banner with Chinese characters written on it, including the double happiness symbol.
For the ceremony itself, a low table was set out with a few items. The grooms entered, both WangJi and WuXian wearing red robes had been made by the resident spider, embroidered with gold designs of forest animals. WangJi's normally white forehead ribbon had even been replaced with a red and WuXian had a red veil. With their attendants there to assist, the wedding ceremony began.
As the pair approached the table, WuXian on one side and WangJi on the other, they alternated bowing to each other three times before kneeling. With the help of their attendants, they each drank a cup of tea, which they used their long sleeves as though hiding that they were doing so behind them. Once they had put the cups down, WangJi reached up, pushing the veil back so that he could see WuXian’s face before removing the forehead ribbon he’d been wearing. Taking WuXian’s hand, he used to make kind of a loose knot between their two wrists, a Gusu Lan symbol that WuXian was his fated partner. Then as they carefully stood, WangJi leaned in to kiss WuXian before they both bowed to their attendants, thanks for assisting them and being there for them.
Soon after the room was ready for the reception, the feast prepared for the couple and for their guests, which had been prepared by helpful volunteered, attempting to make as many traditional dishes as they could with the offerings that the train had.
As the wedding couple, they were rather happily seated together of course. WangJi had since replaced the forehead ribbon on his head, but the question would be how long it stayed there.
[ooc: Mingle post! Feel free to make your own top levels and tag around and have fun. Also, in the picture, ignore the hat for WangJi’s robes. He’s not wearing a hat]

"If that's really all you want..."

Like teleporting them around and some ungodly hour of the morning if they weren't in their bed.

He gave the other man a sly smile. "And maybe if we get it, eventually you may get a berth there too? You and that friend of yours sure flirt a lot over the ICP."

The comment about him and Gen made him chuckle and blush lightly. They flirted over the ICP, definitely, and everywhere else at the rate they were going. It was a near-constant thing, easily observable.
"Ah, we're already dating." Senku clarified, amused. He gestured at his hair being pulled up by a silk rope, the knot on the top Ishigami village-style. "He did my hair for me." Which after a pause he explained. "That's typically something reserved for someone incredibly close to you."

So they hadn't asked for any sort of gift but if someone had wanted to give them one, it was nice.
"I see. That is nice. It is good that you have someone you are so close to."

"Then it is similar. Disciples of Gusu Lan wear a forehead ribbon as a symbol of our restraint. Only parents or one's fated partner may remove it aside from one's self."
