Wedding Day - Open Mingle
Who: WangJi, WuXian, and anyone who wants to come
Where: Dressing Car and Gym Car
When: Day 29
What: WuXian and WangJi get married again. Wedding and Reception
Warnings: Aside from gratuitous pdas from the newlyweds? Probably nothing. Let me know if something needs to be added
The day had quickly arrived after the date had been picked out. The dressing car was opened by the train, letting everyone who wished to attend go to pick out something formal to wear for the event, and very early in the morning, the gym had been decorated appropriately for the Chinese wedding ceremony, mostly in the color red with some gold mixed in. Near the door of the carriage was a banner with Chinese characters written on it, including the double happiness symbol.
For the ceremony itself, a low table was set out with a few items. The grooms entered, both WangJi and WuXian wearing red robes had been made by the resident spider, embroidered with gold designs of forest animals. WangJi's normally white forehead ribbon had even been replaced with a red and WuXian had a red veil. With their attendants there to assist, the wedding ceremony began.
As the pair approached the table, WuXian on one side and WangJi on the other, they alternated bowing to each other three times before kneeling. With the help of their attendants, they each drank a cup of tea, which they used their long sleeves as though hiding that they were doing so behind them. Once they had put the cups down, WangJi reached up, pushing the veil back so that he could see WuXian’s face before removing the forehead ribbon he’d been wearing. Taking WuXian’s hand, he used to make kind of a loose knot between their two wrists, a Gusu Lan symbol that WuXian was his fated partner. Then as they carefully stood, WangJi leaned in to kiss WuXian before they both bowed to their attendants, thanks for assisting them and being there for them.
Soon after the room was ready for the reception, the feast prepared for the couple and for their guests, which had been prepared by helpful volunteered, attempting to make as many traditional dishes as they could with the offerings that the train had.
As the wedding couple, they were rather happily seated together of course. WangJi had since replaced the forehead ribbon on his head, but the question would be how long it stayed there.
[ooc: Mingle post! Feel free to make your own top levels and tag around and have fun. Also, in the picture, ignore the hat for WangJi’s robes. He’s not wearing a hat]

He nods, understanding the problem. "It is like that, on this train. People come and go, and those we loved in our original worlds may arrive but not remain with us. Still, I am glad that you still have people who bring you comfort. I believe that's the key to survival when voyaging the multiverse."
He smiles. "Let me know if there is ever anything I can do."

He tilts his head, then asks, not really expecting an answer that would solve his situation, but curious about another point of view.
"I wonder, has the train brought someone you know from an earlier time? Like someone who did many things wrong - but for him, he has not done them yet?"

He considers the question.
"That's never happened to me, not on the train and not in either of the other worlds I lived in that were not my own. All the people from my world who turned up had the same amount of history as I did, and we all remembered the same events. But I have known people from the same world who were. . . out of sync, I guess you could say. One would remember the other as a grievous wrongdoer, but the other had not committed any of those wrongs, according to his or her timeline. You are worried about someone from your world?" And yes, he's spoken to Meng Yao.
