Just along for the ride (June catchall)
Who: Lea and anyone
Where: Various locations around the train
When: Anytime in the second half of Fiddlesticks
What: Lea finally getting a chance to properly settle into train life after a kind of crazy first couple weeks
Warnings: Probably none. Will update if needed.
Chore Time
A Voidtrecker's work was never done. Though compared to fighting monsters for days on end, cleaning was a snap. Thus he wasn't too bothered by working cleanup in the kitchen, or even helping clean the bathrooms. It proved to be a bit of a juggling act though, especially for the latter, trying to find a time when no one was using them to clean properly. Ah well, he could work with it. Probably.
Movie Time
Lea had finally found a time when the cinema car wasn't in use by anyone else and was scrolling through the various selections available. He half considered calling up a few episodes of Merry Little Voidtrain, but he'd likely want to watch it from the beginning, an that would be difficult to do consistently. Maybe later.
He also considered Lone Star, an action-comedy movie about space-faring rogue. The plot centered around him and his adventures after agreeing to transport a particularly valuable gemstone to a buyer on a distant planet. But there were more than a few other people who wanted it for themselves, and not just for the monetary value. And all along he had to deal with the gemstone's beautiful and sharp-tongued protector, who some of those they encountered also seemed to be after. It looked like it might be a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
But then he spotted something that drove that straight from his mind. "No way...", he said, stunned. He hastily read the description, wanting to make sure it was the real deal, and not a different film with the same title. But no, it was the real thing. A broad, goofy grin spread across his face. They actually had Prismatic Guardians: The Movie. This place was looking better all the time.
Chill Time
Lea sat in the Standard Coach, journal notebook open on his lap and pen in hand, apparently deep in thought. Anyone who looked over his shoulder at the journal page he was working on would see that it contained a list of various items:

"Find something good?"
Re: Movie Time
"Only the movie of my favorite show ever when I was a kid," Lea said with a grin. "Wanna watch with me?"

"Sure, I've got nothing on my plate right now. And I wanna see how you humans act!"

Chill Time
Being there were only two tables to begin with, he approaches Lea's quietly, holding his own notebook but hesitating to sit down.
"Would you mind if I joined you?"
Re: Chill Time
Re: Chill Time
Drizzt took the seat indicated, setting his journal down on the table but not opening it just yet. While it had pained him to say goodbye to his feline companion, a sort of quiet calm had descended upon the elf on their departure from the last world. He was content with the job they had done.
"I agree. If this is what is expected of us on this voyage, I believe I can be content with it."
Re: Chill Time
"Though that might have had something to do with the weird effects the place had on people's magic. You didn't have any problems with that, did you?"

Movie Time
At the end of the movie he threw a piece of candy at the screen. "What the hell did I just watch?" he asked to no one in particular but the other redhead was really the only person to ask at the moment.

Lea, who'd been absorbed in the movie, hadn't noticed that anyone else had come in until Reno spoke up. "Prismatic Guardians: The Movie," Lea said. "It was my favorite show as a kid. I never expected they'd have the movie of it here."
no subject
It might have been because Reno himself wasn't certain which he rather it be. But it was his usual nature to be an asshole instead of gentle so that was hard not to lean towards.
"Couldn't you have liked something a little less...colorful as a kid? Something with more...oomph to it."
no subject
"Besides, it was everywhere back then. It wasn't just the show. There were comic books, toys, clothes, even a really terrible breakfast cereal. If you had a complete collection of Guardians action figures back then, you were the man."
I was thinking of magical girl anime for some reason, oops.
Nope, Sentai-style show. XD But still a legit reaction given its cheesiness. X3

Chill Time!
Her hands free, she let herself say hello.
"Morning, Lea. Those look like a good start in what to order from the shop; looking for suggestions?"
Then her face turned wry. "Or points? I honestly wouldn't mind lending a hand."

"If you're going for the ice cream option, we do have a 'Meal for Four' section of the shop. We've ordered DIY ice cream that way before, too."
Thank Romeo and Charlotte for that!
no subject
"Could it just be a box of ice cream bars? Or like, a six pack of potions? Because if not, that's gonna get expensive really fast..."

Think we should wrap this one?
Yep, just another tag or two should do.

And one more of them heading off to get food should do it. :3
\o/ Here!
Chill Time
Tidus hasn't seen what Lea's written, just catching him sitting at the table as he's walking down the aisle, throwing the familiar redhead a smile.
He was doing more with his notebook than Tidus ever did with his, anyway.

"You in a rush to spend your points?" He catches the word potions upside down, murmuring, "Oh, potions -- that's a good idea."
no subject
"And yeah, given that I don't have any healing magic, the last mission showed me that potions are likely to be important. Though if we can only get them one at a time, keeping a stock of them might get expensive pretty quick."

A thread for Xion questions and hopefully Wayfinders with Roxas
But she really missed sunsets. And ice cream. She sat, looking down at her gloves until he was ready to talk.
