OTA - Ramen, anyone?

What: Senku misses ramen, and so in tradition, he's making some and there's definitely enough to share.

Locked to Roland and Gen

Ramen didn't just make itself, and while he could cut a break, it seemed unlikely that Gen was going to leave well enough alone. He was pulling out ingredients for the broth and the noodles and he grinned.

"Glad you could make it." He addressed Roland with a smirk. "Time to pay up." He said with a beckoning motion of his finger. "Come on, I'll teach you how to make ramen."

He didn't know if Roland was familiar with it or not, but most people probably couldn't make it from scratch either.

OTA - Everybody come and eat!

It may not have been their turn to cook, but Senku didn't care because he was the one missing it the most.

The ramen that is being served has a light, brown broth from soy sauce and is actually quite tasty. Gen and Senku have had a lot of practice with substandard ingredients, and so making it with the real thing?

It's pretty decent. They went with shoryu ramen because it was the easiest with the ingredients on hand, mixed with some of the garlic and ginger that they picked up, as well as served with pork - real pork they picked up on the mission, not mystery bear meat.

Both Senku and Gen were helping to serve and dress the ramen, just like they might be at home.

"It's pretty easy, my friend!" Gen claimed, grinning all too innocently behind Senku. "Let's wash our hands and get started, shall we? We're hoping you'll give us a hand with the noodles. Time to get ooking-cay!"

Gen smiled cheerfully and went to the sink to wash up.

Taking over the kitchen for a personal project often seems to turn out well. Granted, much of her experience is Mami's excellent baking, and Senku is a bit of a sketchier figure to see making food when he's clearly some sort of mad scientist, but it's still food, right?

"Elaborate on this dish." Ple Two does not know what ramen is, however.

Kitty had come to the kitchen to practice making something herself, but paused a moment at the smell of something tasty filling the air.

Curious, she approached with a smile. "Hey. What are you making?"

Color Glorfindel intrigued. "What is this? May I try some?" he asks.

Why bother buying a toaster when you can see about nicking one of the many in the upper kitchen? That was Tidus's thinking that led him out of his room, after getting restless and wanting to do some train investigation. And while there's usually someone in the kitchen - a few someones, actually - Tidus isn't expecting two of the faces he finds in there.

His brows go up, paused at the stairs leading to the second kitchen. Decides to call over, "What're you two doing?"

Senku and Roland he knows - the other guy he isn't sure of. But he's curious all the same.

Yeah, Della's not one for table manners. She's far too happy enjoying her meal. ]

Mmm... Man, this takes me back to Tokyolk... I missed ramen. And so, so, SO many other things.

Colden followed his nose to the kitchen, lingering in the doorway for a moment before stepping in. He didn't want to invade if someone was working on a personal cooking project, but he was still curious all the same. It couldn't hurt to ask questions, right?

"What're you making?"

"Ken-chan, I smell ramen! Ramen!"

"...So it seems. But the chances of that--"

Oh. The chances of that are. Better than Ken had thought.

Don't mind him, just going to awkwardly stand in the doorway, beholding the sight of his teammate....cooking?

A dish...from Japan? Or...

....Is his best friend from home, who aims to learn all the flavors of the world's ramen, going to have to expand multiversally?

After tearing down the sheets from her previous announcement, Eight has been keeping busy doing the laundry. She's feeling a bit peckish though, and decides that some food would help her work better.

The smell was heavenly.

She wasn't going to take any, truly, but the bowl in her hand quickly becomes a spoon in her mouth. She's not used to red meat and yet...

Tohru's not much use in the kitchen when it comes to making things from scratch, unless he's given specific instructions, so he's very interested when he wanders in pajama pants and a t-shirt in search of something snack-ish that he doesn't have to purchase.

And it turns out to be very familiar! He'll definitely go for ramen, since he's kinda starting to miss it.

"Nice, noodles. The instant kind or homemade?"

Xue Yang simply followed his nose. He could smell something decent being cooked and so he appeared at the kitchen dressed in some of his new robes. It felt good to be dressed in clothing much closer to his actual outfits from home versus those terrible hoodies.

He walks inside and goes immediately towards the source of the smell, looking down at the ramen with interest.
